I will back up to Thursday to just mention our dinner at the Japanese Steak House. I posted about it on Friday with several photos, but this one is worth sharing again... The food was great!
Instead of cattle as we entered the property, we saw two deer!!
First time in a long time to see deer on the property!
There were some cattle in the lower pasture, by the pond...
Since I didn't see Majesty and Vanna last week, they got all my treats and attention.
Doc and Pistol were still in a farther away pasture so I missed them.
I had a little visitor while I was reading...
When we were leaving, nearly the whole herd of cattle were there to say good-bye!
This isn't my photo. I swiped it from our local news station's Facebook page. Fell in love with it!
Great Blue Heron striking the perfect pose on Cocoa Beach. By Jason Sponseller
I told Joe he would be eating at Terri's Diner last night. I made meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans for our dinner. Typical diner comfort food!! And there will be leftovers for tonight! Looking forward to reading your posts today!
Thanks for your visit!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!

So sorry to hear that Joe has not been feeling well, but glad he is starting to do better now. I'm sure that food at "Terri's Diner" is what really did the trick! Sounds good to me too! Love your photos of the deer! Aren't they fun to see? So glad you got some good pictures as they leaped across the road. Also glad you weren't driving any faster! Love to see the horses and the cows, and that Great Blue Heron photo is stunning!! Wow! Hope you have a blessed and wonderful week, and pray that Joe continues to feel better. (((hugs)))
ReplyDelete"The Farm" is really a delightful place to visit and your pictures are always so pretty. Sorry Joe wasnt feeling well and I understand getting medicines by mail - I do the same and sometimes they dont come soon enough...but glad he is better now. Your supper sounds like it would do the trick to help him. Have a good Monday and new week ahead.
ReplyDeleteI always love your farm pics. The blue heron pic is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Joe is feeling better. Have a great day!
Poor Joe! What a relief to finally have his inhaler replaced, though. Your photos are beautiful, Terri, and you captured some great ones of the deer. We see deer all the time in our woods, but I never tire of looking at them - so graceful and elegant!
ReplyDeleteBlessings for a great week ahead!
so glad Joe got his meds....I know it worries you when he is not feeling well. The picture of that heron is just beautiful. It is a framer for sure. And who doesn't love to see the farm animals? A pretty farm is a joy for sure.
ReplyDeleteI am glad Joe got his inhaler. Mother has asthma so I am very familiar with that. The cows all coming towards you is a great picture and of course that heron is. Take care and enjoy your week. Meatloaf sounds really good. I have to do some meal thinking this week.
ReplyDeleteThose deer are looking small compared to those here.... some good feed should help them out... :)
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure they were babies and they are getting corn left out here and there for them. Hope we see them again!
DeleteWow! The photo of the beach is gorgeous! I wish we were both sitting on that beach today! lol Love the deer. We saw SO many deer tracks when we hiked yesterday but didn't see a deer. They probably saw us though! lol Enjoy your week!
ReplyDelete(((grin))) 'Terri's diner' thanks. Gosh, the photos are so pretty. Hoping you both have a beautiful Monday, my friend.
ReplyDeleteGlad Joe is doing better!!!
ReplyDeleteSee the way that deer is leaping- that's exactly how Ernie, our dog, runs. We always say he's part deer
Sounds like a great weekend to me. I enjoy going to Japanese steak houses but haven't been in quite a while. It's so fun when you get a cook who is a good entertainer. I'm so glad Joe is feeling better! Love that picture from Cocoa Beach. Beautiful. Happy Monday, Terri!
ReplyDeleteYikes on that rescue inhaler! And Double Yikes on that patio picture. When I was reading this on my cell phone, at first I thought the hose was a snake! (And I'm over here going, Why is Terri sticking around and taking a picture? LOL)
ReplyDeleteSo glad Joe's feeling some better; I'm guessing Terri's diner's 'comfort food' helped a bunch.
"Typical diner food" sounds really good and I'm sure you make it better than most. Joe is so blessed to be married to you!
ReplyDeleteLove the farm photos - especially the deer. I had 4 run in front of me Saturday morning when I was out.
ReplyDeleteThe heron shot is just gorgeous!
Can I put in a reservation for Terri's diner? Sounds good, and it's Bob's favorite meal.
Anytime, Mari!! Come on down for a Florida visit!!
DeleteI never tire of the farm pictures!! That great blue heron picture is spectacular!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Joe is feeling better. Ten days is a long time to wait!
