Whimsical Wednesday on Thankful Thursday...

Whimsical Wednesday on Thursday!

Check out the gown and pick the shoes she should wear.

Have some fun. It's just a whimsical thing!

This elegant gown is perfect for the start of the Fall season.  She is attending
a fundraising gala for the local art museum and needs some shoes to wear.
Count from the top, 1-2-3 and tell us which she should choose!

My thoughts:  As usual, I couldn't wear any of the shoes but I do love the gown and actually, I also love the color.  I will pick shoe #3 because I love the design on the heel and they are dark enough for some contrast.  I do miss dressing up once a year for our museum's annual Gala.  I saw a dress in a catalog the other day and showed it to Joe... I would buy this for the Gala if we were still going.  It wasn't nearly as pretty as this dress though.  What are your thoughts?

Today is also Thankful Thursday, over at Knit by God's Hand.
You can visit Rebecca Jo HERE to join in sharing blessings!

**I am thankful for a roof over our heads, with all the rain we have been having.
**I am thankful that the latest TS/Hurricane Sally passed us by but am heartsick
for those folks in the panhandle, Alabama, Mississpppi and Lousiana who are
taking the brunt of yet another hurricane this season.
**I am thankful for family and friends, and that includes each of you!

Thanks for your visit today!
Peace & hugs!  God bless!!

  1. I would choose #1 but they are all beautiful. I cant see me wearing them however - I wouldnt be able to walk! There is so much to be thankful for and we all need to pray for those in the line of the hurricane and be pray for them.

  2. Wow, that dress!!! I'm going with shoe #3, Terri, as I love the design on the heel, too. Yes, praying for all those sorely affected by this latest hurricane. Glad you are safe!
    Blessings!

  6. Sounds like we are all mostly in agreement on shoe #3, and also that none of us would be able to wear them, but they are very pretty! Our lovely FLOTUS would be stunning in this dress...but then, she is stunning in any kind of outfit! Yes, we praise the Lord not to have had any serious storm issues here, even though we did have a powerful thunderstorm blow through last evening, which kind of caught us off guard. Praying for those who were in the direct path. Our friend Sandi (Home Ed Major) lives up that way and I am anxious to hear from her. I am concerned her home was very close to the area of impact...so we should keep her in our prayers. Have a lovely day.

  7. Such a gorgeous dress! I think all the shoes are beautiful (though I couldn't wear any of them), but I think, like you and nearly everyone else, I will go with #3.

  8. #3 for me! Like you, I appreciate the contrast, a near match for her sash(?).
This morning I'm very thankful that, aside from branches down and a lake in what used to be our back yard, we were spared Sally's wrath.

  10. While I can't wear the color of this dress, it sure is pretty! (maybe in a royal blue for me?). Like you, Terri, I'll go with shoe #3 because of the heel decorations. They are stunning!
