Thanks to Bev Sykes for today's questions!  You can join us thieves by going HERE!

Personal Development

Hi! I'm your host Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". . Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!

Stolen from Personal Development Magazine

1. A person I like and why I like them.  I like so many people. If I like you it is because you are genuine, caring, have integrity, have faith in God, (and love my cats)!

2. A famous person I’ve been compared to.  No one has ever compared me to anyone famous (and that's okay!).

3. The best thing that happened to me this week. Spending Joe's birthday with him and two of our grandchildren (more on that, Monday)!

4. Weird things I do when I’m alone.  I can't think of anything I do when I am alone that I wouldn't do with someone else in the house.

5. How I’d spend $10,000.  Pay off the car.

6. My last night out in detail.  Ha! Seriously?  It was way too long ago!

7. Something that makes me sad when I think about it. That my parents died so young and didn't see their grandchildren grow up. They would have been so proud of Sara, Mike, and Kelly!!

8. Something I’m currently worrying about.  I don't worry. God is in control.

9. Something I do without realizing.  Joe says I clear my throat often. Probably while he is watching something on TV that I'm not paying attention to.  Okay...

10. A drunken story.  I have never been drunk. I've seen a few folks make fools of themselves though.

11. Something I regret.  No regrets here. Each mistake taught a lesson.

12. Five things within touching distance.  Bottle of water; my phone; a pen; my mouse; and my laptop, upon which I am typing!

13. Something I’ve lied about.  I am a terrible lier and gave that up years ago.

14. Lyrics that apply to my current mood.  How about...

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-A-Dee-A
My oh my what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headed my way
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-A-Dee-A

15. My longest relationship.  Joe and I have been married for 35 years and 4 months.  We dated for a year and a half before we got married, so 36.5 years!

Have a blessed Sunday!

Peace & Hugs!  God bless!

  1. Like you, Terri, I don't worry; I choose to pray instead when difficult situations arise. And if I had an extra $10,000? I'd probably split it four ways with our children.
    Have a blessed Sunday!

  6. You are a very happy and positive person there. And I try not to worry - and I know there is God, but sometimes I do worry. Concerned about the country now.

  7. Love your responses. I like that you don't worry. That is a very positive trait. I try not to worry, but there are times I do get anxious about the current state of our country and I am concerned what would happen if the November election goes a certain way. But I trust God to take care of us no matter what. He is bigger than all of that and we can rely on Him. But we really need to keep praying!!

  8. All of your answers are so good, Terri, but #8 and #11 really resonate with me. We should all believe this way.
