End of April Sunday Stealing....

Thanks to Bud for this week's Sunday Stealing!!

The Unknown Author Questions

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog

Authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. You may have heard the expression, “honor among thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's questions in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from recently asked questions from a previously post.

We found this gem from one of you who sent it in. I have no idea who. But as I stated last week, I am partying with my friends for WTIT's 50th Anniversary. Can you believe that three 15-year-old kids recorded their lives' stories? Okay, whoever gave this to me please credit yourself in the comments. Let's do this!

Cheers to all of us thieves!

Sunday Stealing: The Unknown Author Questions

1. if someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?

I don't think it is possible to understand me by reading, watching or listening to something. Just spend some time with me.  I guess you get a good idea by reading my blogs....

2. have you ever found a blogger who thinks just like you? if so, who?

I think most of us here (connected and faithful readers) are conservative believers who think very much alike. We are prayer partners, family oriented and care about each other and our families.

3. list your fandoms and one character from each that you identify with.

I'm not sure I understand fandoms. ???  I don't identify with an character.

4. do you like your name? is there another name you think would fit you better?

I'm fine with Terri but I do not like Teresa.

5. do you think of yourself as a human being or a human doing? do you identify yourself by the things you do?

I'm a human being and of course I identify myself by the things I do.

6. are you religious/spiritual?

Yes to both.

7. do you care about your ethnicity?

I care about my roots and love genealogy but I'm not possessed by it.

8. what musical artists have you most felt connected to over your lifetime?

Any trumpet player - Botti, Alpert, Satchmo, Dizzy.....

9. are you an artist?

Kinda, sorta.

10. do you have a creed?

Not one that I've ever written down or thought about as a 'creed'.

11. describe your ideal day.

Any day I don't have to get up at 5:00 a.m.

12. dog person or cat person?

We have three cats, but I also love dogs.  Just don't want one right now.

13. inside or outdoors?

Inside.  I have transitioned to inside.  I'm an old lady now.

14. are you a musician?

I used to be. A long time ago I played trumpet (for 6 years in school).

15. five most influential books over your lifetime.

Gosh.... the Bible (of course); Gone With The Wind; The Once and Future King; The Shack; The Outlander series  They are all about love and strength and perseverance.

16. if you’d grown up in a different environment, do you think you’d have turned out the same?

I think your environment and family connections do have much to do with your attitude and your approach to life.  It's been proven that genetics play a part, but had I not been in a loving and supportive family and in a small town environment, I'm sure I would be a little different.

17. would you say your tumblr is a fair representation of the “real you”?

I don't use tumblr.... but Blogger is an excellent representation of who I am.

18. what’s your patron-us?

As a Catholic, my Patron Saint is Elizabeth Ann Seton. I chose her when I was confirmed.  She was American, a mother, and a teacher. I identified with her more than any other Saint.  If this isn't the answer you were looking for, I'm not sure what patron-us means.

19. which Harry Potter house would you be in? or are you a muggle?

I'm a muggle.

20. would you rather be in Middle Earth, Narnia, Hogwarts, or somewhere else?

I would just as soon stay right where I am and just enjoy those worlds through the books!

21. do you love easily?

Yes, I think I do (and am also too trusting, usually).

22. list the top five things you spend the most time doing, in order.

Computer (work, blogger, and FB); watching TV; cooking; laundry; caring for Joe & the cats.

23. how often would you want to see your family every year?

I LOVE seeing our family members and would have some of them here just all the time if we could!

24. have you ever felt like you had a “mind-meld” with someone?

Yes.  I like when you feel that "click" that helps form a friendship.

25. could you live as a hermit?

I am fine being alone, but wouldn't want to be a hermit.

26. how would you describe your gender/sexuality?

I am woman, hear me roar!!  LOL  I am not a girly girl but I enjoy being a girl. Being female has never left me wanting.  I'm not a feminist. I think we have more power and influence in the world than any feminist can understand.

27. do you feel like your outside appearance is a fair representation of the “real you”?

Pretty much...you can tell I like to be comfortable and I like to eat!!  Ha ha ha.

28. on a scale from 1 to 10, how hard is it for someone to get under your skin?

It depends on the situation, but I am usually pretty patient and accepting.  Once in awhile, though, I may just need to get away from someone for awhile.

29. three songs that you connect with right now.

You know, I love music, but I just don't listen to it that much.  The radio is on in the car, on the oldies station and that's about it.  I connect with oldies because I'm old.  I like understanding the words and having the words not be nasty.

30. pick one of your favorite quotes.

Psalm 91:11 For he will command His Angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;

------------------------------------------------------

Our son, Joey, has worked his butt off again for us this weekend.  The twin beds are together, even though they aren't placed how I wanted them. They took up more space than anticipated.  It will work though.  I'll have pictures in my recap tomorrow.  He also helped Joe get the shed organized and we got the storage locker emptied out in time to not have to pay for May! Hooray!

Thanks for your visit!  Wishing you a blessed Sunday and month of May.
Peace & hugs.

  6. What thoughtful answers to #1 and #2! So many of today's questions I'd no idea what they meant, much less how to answer! (Yup, I'm old LOL) Aside from never having read or seen Harry Potter, I enjoyed all your responses!

So happy Joey was there to lend his support. Family is precious, indeed.

  10. Oh my....I should have thought of your answer to the one about a perfect day. Not getting up at 3:45 would definitely be a good start!

I am definitely a lone voice in the Sunday Stealing/Saturday 9 crowd, but I find that we do eventually hit on some common ground (not when it comes to religion or politics, though)...and it's kind of fun to keep them on their toes and imagine their reactions to some of my answers. LOL

I agree on #2 - you are one of the bloggers that I often feel I have a lot in common with.
