I don't really have much for today, so "tidbits" is a good word for this post!
- I got the laundry done.
- I took down most of the artwork on our walls.
- I packed two more boxes of "stuff".
- I hosed down the pool deck which was filthy from all the roof dirt. Had to do that before we let the cats go out. It was really dirty out there.
- Told the cats to enjoy the outside because soon they will be inside only cats.
- Joe went to Sam's Club for a few things.
- I got some/most of the nail holes plugged.
- Cleaned out a couple more drawers.
I'm ready to be moved!! But I'm also wondering how it got to be the end of January already!
Thanks for your visit!! Peace & hugs.

Moving is very hard. We never realize, from day to day, what all is involved to taking down a house. You are making such good progress tho, and it will be over soon. Your fur babies will have a new life inside all the time, but cats adjust well. Have a good day back at work.
ReplyDelete...huh? the end of January already?(wink)--have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteYou are a busy girl Terrie. I bet your house is feeling less like home with all your things packed away.
ReplyDeleteYou are a busy lady! Looks like moving day won't be like mine where I was still packing things up as the people were moving things out.
ReplyDeleteMoving is so hard. You will get it done. ;)
ReplyDeleteTime flies when your having fun...or moving!! Have a great Tuesday!!
ReplyDeleteI would so dread if we moved & all the nail holes.I'm a hanger... Ricky gets so aggravated at the holes I put in a wall :) haha
ReplyDeleteSounds like good progress!
ReplyDeleteJust a thought for the cats - - but you can make them a "run" - - or make a cat door that goes out into a big cage. One of our daughters has a tent for hers to go outside in. Will you have a screened porch area?
As we tell our one cat who is only allowed on the back porch - - be thankful you got that. The confinement is your own fault for fighting so much. Also I tell them to be thankful for shelter and food. If we had left them as strays, they wouldn't be alive now. - - - Guess how much good it does to reason with them?!! LOL
It's looming close, your move, that is. How exciting!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, but you pack a lot into one day!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear someone else talks to her fur babies. When someone convinces me they don't understand, then I'll stop! (lol)
Amazing Woman! Sounds like you have made great progress. I know you will be so happy to get this move over with!! Praying that all will go smoothly, and that God will give you the strength you need for each day and task.
ReplyDeleteMoving is a time when emotions get jumbled but I do hope and pray that your move goes well and every little detail works out for you.
ReplyDeletePacking just seems to never end but eventually it will. Can't wait to see how the new place is decorated! Bet it'll be very pretty too. ~:)
ReplyDeleteSoon you'll be unpacking those boxes and putting your feet up while admiring your new home!
ReplyDeleteHang in there, Teri. Soon you will be enjoying the fruit of your labor in your new place, enjoying new surroundings and making new friends.
ReplyDeleteWow! You got a lot done. It won't be long before you move and it sure sounds like you have everything under control.
ReplyDeleteThe end of January did came rather fast. I'm glad in many ways. Sounds like you're still making good progress, you'll make it.
ReplyDeleteI wonder the same thing.... How can tomorrow be the first day of February?
ReplyDeleteHooray for you! You have surely been busy!
