Tuesday Tidbit....

We got home late last night, after the show at our Lakeland Center. The show was great and Joe even enjoyed it.  He usually can't sit still for musicals, but this one moves fast and is LOUD!  We had great seats too!  We were center Orchestra section, Row H and seats 3 & 4.  Almost center, with 14 seats in a row.

I sneaked in a photo, but they won't let you photograph during the performance.  Those empty seats did fill up. There was a big crowd and even the balcony seats were full. I thought we would be home by 10:00 but the show wasn't over until just after 10:00.

That's all I have. I am back at work and going just a little nuts with the back-up here from being off all last week.  That alarm going off at 5:00 a.m. was just rude. I am going to settle into retirement just fine, let me tell you!!

Joe has lots of details to cover the next couple of days to get us going. He is buying boxes and bubble wrap, he is scheduling appointments about financing and hopefully by this weekend we can begin to look at what's available out there and hopefully get the timing right to make this move happen seamlessly.  I've given it to God. It will happen in His time.

Thanks for stopping in today!  Happy Tuesday after all the hoopla!  Peace & hugs.

  2. I have been praying that the move will go seamlessly. Change is a good word for the year. Seems y'all will be going through a lot of that, one way or another. Can't wait to see what the new place looks like. Hope you get good neighbors. ~:)

  4. Glad you enjoyed the show and I hope the packing moves along without too much trouble. We moved a lot early in our marriage...oh, how I hate the packing!

  7. It is or was, always hard going back after days off. Sounds like the production was very good. Moving.......ugh.....but you are wise to have already given it to God.

  11. I hate that early alarm - I get up at 5:10, so I know what you mean! I have to work extra this week, so no days off till next Tuesday... :( Glad Joe is able to get some of that stuff done for you while you are at work.

  14. You will love retirement, but wonder how you got everything done when you worked. You will be that busy, lol... I love 42nd Street. The troupe that visited our town had sign ups for some local talent and my cousins daughter was picked to play the newsboy. She did such a great job and we were all so proud of her. Have a wonderful new year. Hugs, LJ
