Sunday Stealing....

Thanks to Bud for this week's Sunday Stealing!!  Click THIS LINK to join the fun!

The Icebreaker Questions

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. You may have heard the expression, “honor among thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's questions in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from recently asked questions from a previously post.

We believe she's the author, but...
It is hard to say where we got these questions. They are from a martial arts site and we think are meant for questions to ask your opponents when you meet. We “think” because most of the site is in French. Also, you’d never ask any of the original questions to someone that you just met. Those questions (i.e. What celebrity would you like a threesome with?) were not what we’d ask someone when we met. But there were 50 questions that we both stole and edited to become today’s massive event. We got the title from the original site. Oh, and feel free to answer the threesome question. And leave the question out for others to read. They will never look at you quite the same way ever again.

Cheers to all of us thieves!

Sunday Stealing: The Icebreaker Questions

1. Are you loud, outgoing or shy?  Not really shy, but usually more quiet than loud or outgoing.

2. What’s coming up where you’ll see an old friend?  I saw an old friend at church last night. Hadn't seen her and her husband in months and months.

3. Are you easy to get along with?  I sure like to think so.

4. Have you ever given up on someone, but then gone back to them?  Yes.

5. Who was the last person that you had a deep conversation with?  Joe. We've had LOTS to discuss lately with the move and all that entails.

6. Are you okay with being in a big crowd?  I'm not phobic, I just hate being in a crowd.

7. Do you believe in luck and/or miracles?  I believe more in miracles than luck, but I do believe some folks are lucky to be in the right place at the right time (for instance).

8. What good thing happened during the summer?  (It’s good to think about summer when you are freezing your butt off in January.)  Every day is good, summer, winter, fall or spring.

9. Do you think there is life on other planets?  Yes, I do.

10. Who was your first crush on?  Doug Pillows in 4th grade.  He had buck teeth and I thought he was cute.

11. What are your bad habits?  I am impatient in the car. Not so that I am dangerous, but it does aggravate Joe when I get upset and voice my opinion of other drivers. It's a habit I need to break.

12. What’s your favorite part of your daily routine?  Getting home from work!

13. Other than your significant other, who are you most comfortable with?  My sisters.

14. Has an ex ever told you that they regret breaking up?  Yes.

15. Why should your celebrity crush drop everything to be with you?  I don't have a celebrity crush. I still have a big crush on my Joe, though!!

16. What would be the hardest to give up and why? Books. TV. Music.  Books. Books allow us to imagine what people and places look like (don't need TV) and words ARE music!!

17. Do you believe in second chances?  Yes.

18. What would like to do next in your life?  I don't believe in reincarnation.

19. What’s the meanest thing that anyone has ever said to you?  My ex said some very mean things to me and I won't repeat any of it here. That was a long, long time ago.

20. What’s the nicest thing that anyone has ever said to you?  I've been blessed with good people in my life, both personal and professional. I've been blessed to have made a difference here and there and have been appreciated for it.

Thank you for playing this week on Sunday Stealing! Please leave a comment or link when you have posted. Stop back and visit other player’s posts. That is really what this is all about, making new friends! Have a great week. See you next Sunday!
Peace & love-
Bud

I did get the dining room sorted yesterday and quite a few things put aside for our garage sale. Today I will be boxing up what we are keeping. Good golly...I have a "thing" about platters and bowls. How many platters and bowls does one woman need? Evidently dozens. Sigh.

Thanks for your visit today!  Peace & hugs!!

  4. I always enjoy your meme's. It's amazing how alike we are.
#1 - I'm not the least bit shy, but detest crowds. They can digress into bad things very easily, as the news can attest to.
    # 17 - Because of Jesus Christ we not only have 2nd chances but 3rd chances, 4th chances, 5th, 6th, and on to infinity while we're still above ground.
May the LORD bless and keep you. ~:)

  5. Wonderful answers, Teri. I hope to meet you someday. With exception of the move, life on another planet, and the remark about your ex, my answers would have been the same. Lol! My buck toothed crush was on Jeff Osborne ... in 4th grade! You are so funny. I wonder myself about those platters and bowls that take up so much space.

    1. To clarify...I don't think there is life like ours on other planets or aliens flying around. I just think the universe is so HUGE that it would not surprise me to find out life in some form exists elsewhere.

  6. Love your candor ... and especially, your answer to #8.
#11? I'm chuckling aloud, picturing the two of us in rush hour!

  7. I don't know why I didn't think of it, but I could definitely add impatience in the car to my list of bad habits. I spend so much time behind the wheel that I tend to get grumpy with those who aren't the best of drivers.
