The Very Forceful Questions
Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. You may have heard the expression, “honor among thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's questions in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from recently asked questions from a previously post.

Watermelonhead has nothing to do with anything here.
We found this gem from a blogger named Tyforddfrom the blog Tyfordd's Gallery. She states she was tagged by her good “friendo” but does not mention who. We mean unless "friendo" is an actual name. It is both strange and exciting to find a blog that still gets tagged to do random questions. This was done in August. The host of the blog is Deviantart that used to be something else, but it is that site that calls blogs “journals”. THE ugliest layout (and always has been) and why these folks never found Word Press or Blogger is beyond me. It is impossible to figure out whether you are dealing with a name or the blog's journal's name. In this post, they have 10 rules to do these questions. We won’t share them because we hate freakin’ rules. About last week: I did not make it to all of your posts, but I do owe all of you an apology. I really thought that last week’s questions would be a little different. It was great until I tried to play. Man, was that dumb. Anyway, we are back with a more traditional approach. Also, thanks for letting me know you read this. Hey, you never know unless you ask. As far as the name goes, it actually was the title of this exercise. I couldn't really figure it all out. But hey, what else is new?
Cheers to All of Us Thieves!
Sunday Stealing: The Very Forceful Questions
1. Do you have/have you had any pets? I have had dogs and cats. Right now we have three cats.
2. Do you play video games? Nope. If so, do you have a favorite video game series? No.
3. Any unpopular opinions on anything? Some would say being a Trump supporter in unpopular, but he won, didn't he!! :) We are still doing a happy dance.
4. Do you have a favorite gem? No, but I wouldn't turn down a gift with a gem or two of most any kind! If yes, has anyone ever bought you jewelry with that gem? I have a few pieces of jewelry with gems. I'm really not a flashy jewelry wearing person.
5. Favorite story genres? I enjoy mysteries and historically accurate novels.
6. What was once a secret that you can now share? We bought a new house! We didn't keep it secret for long! (The original question was "What kind of fruit do you hate" which is a type of question that I think "who cares?" so I just change them.)
7. Do you like reading? I am a voracious reader. I always have a book in progress!
8. What time is it for you now, what are you usually doing at this time of the day? I'm doing this Saturday night and this is what I am usually doing at 7:30ish. Sitting in front of the TV with my computer on my lap.
9. What character on TV or in film is most similar to you? You can go with looks or personality. Or you can make a quip and go to the next question. I can think of no one.
10. What's something weird you wanna do? Weird? Some might think it is weird to move into a 55+ community, but I'm excited! It cannot be weirder than Mr. Watermelonhead.
11. Have you ever accomplished a New Years Resolution? I've never made one.
12. Is there any music artist you look up to? Used to be Herb Alpert. Now it would be Chris Botti. I played trumpet in school and LOVE a good trumpet player.
13. Are you allergic to anything? Yes. If yes, what? Wasp/bee venom.
14. When was the last time you took a swim? I was in our pool in October. Who else was with you? Our son Joey and the two pups.
15. Would you rather have the ability to sleep for as long as you want, or have the ability to never have to sleep? I would LOVE to sleep as long as I want. It's coming!! :)

---------------------------
Happy Sunday to you all and thanks for your visit! It's laundry day for me and more sorting and packing in between.
Yesterday, I spent several hours looking through family history papers I've had since I began doing family research back in the 70s. Some things actually had me in tears. I may share something on a future blog that one of my mom's friends wrote as a tribute to her and read it at her funeral. I've mentioned before that my mom was an angel on earth. I'm not alone in those thoughts. She was such a beautiful soul.
I sorted a box to toss, a stack to pass along to my sister Tammy and a stack to scan in and then toss. It was a good exercise. Today, I need to get back to the dining room hutch.
We went to the 4:00 Mass last night and then out to dinner at Carrabba's with a gift card we got for Christmas. So grateful for the gift card which could be used there or at BoneFish or at Outback.
People, it is the middle of January already!! Thanks for your visit today! Peace & hugs!!

Isn't it hard to believe that the month of January is already almost half over? Where in the world does the time go? I'm planning on doing a bit of sorting and tossing and donating this week myself. Sometimes I wish we would move so that we would be forced to get rid of some of our junk, especially my husband. I hope you have a productive day!
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to find someone like-minded among the Sunday Stealers. I'm having a hard time playing nice with the some of them over their awful comments about Trump. There is a bright spot...a new player joined in today and she is a Trump supporter, too.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!
I don't usually link up over there or explore the others. One of them used to really be nasty to me. Totally uncalled for and I just quit linking. Not worth it. Life is too short!!
DeleteI agree. I'm sorry someone was nasty to you. They've actually been very nice to me and don't insult my beliefs on my blog....it's just reading what they say on their own that makes me grit my teeth. We all have our own opinions, though, and as long as they don't jump all over me I can play along.
DeleteYes, indeed, it is the middle of January...back to school for me on the 23rd.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day friend.
Definitely happy dances here too. Friday can't get here soon enough. Enjoyed the meme! Have a very happy, joyous Sunday. ~:)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day. Very exciting event this week! (I won't say it)!
ReplyDeleteJanuary is going by fast.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Always enjoy coming here on Sunday morning and seeing your answers. I am a Trump supporter too and so very tired of all the trash talk. He won, he will be President, get on with it and quit acting like kids, right? This month is already flying by....wish we could slow it down a bit. Have a good laundry day!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to look through a life time of memories and especially when you feel you must get rid of some of it. But you will have a new house and soon you can sleep in every morning.( And you will probably wake up at the same time you got up for work!!)
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed reading your answers, we are Trump supporters too. He has a rough road ahead of him. I also have boxes of 'family' papers...I got into genealogy after I retired, it's fascinating. I know you're going to be 'over' busy until you get moved...hope all goes well and you get settled into you new place and live happily ever after!
ReplyDeleteOff the top of your head, can you recommend a good historically accurate novel? We need to pray hard for Trump and Pence this week and for the inauguration and all the police and security people.
ReplyDeleteI always regretted that we didn't have our mom's memorial service recorded. That was over 30 years ago and people didn't really think about that then. Look forward to seeing what you have to share about your mom. I think you are going to love your new neighborhood. That's wonderful.
The personal tribute to your mother sounds like such a thoughtful gesture. I always felt bad that my mother's service was officiated by one who'd never known her. I agree, family histories can evoke such emotion! (I like to think they'd be pleased.)
ReplyDeleteStill doing the happy dance over here, as well. God bless Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence!
It must be hard work going through all the papers. But the end project will be worth it. I hope your cats will adjust quickly to the move too.
ReplyDeleteI think that sleeping question is very intriguing. I would love to sleep as long as I wanted, but sometimes wish I didn't have to. :)
