1. Most unflattering hairstyle you ever had? What made it so unflattering? 4th grade. Just look at it.
2. Favorite movie(s) that were made in the 90's? Fargo, Green Mile, Independence Day, Schindler's List, Silence of the Lambs, Forest Gump, American Beauty, Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction....
3. Do you rent movies? If so, from where? Only from Netflix or Amazon. We own over 800 movies, so could start our own rental business....
4. Do you like cookies better when they're just out of the oven or after they've cooled? Usually when they have cooled, but I always have to have one while still warm.
5. Do you still talk to the person who gave you your first kiss? No, and I don't really remember who it was. A favorite Junior High School party game was "Flashlight" and that is where I got my first kiss. I have no idea who it was. Anyone else play Flashlight?
6. Did you go to pre-school? If so, what was the name of it? It would have been about 100 years ago! No, I went to a private kindergarten, but no preschool. I had a stay-at-home-mom.
7. How do you take your coffee? I usually drink it black, but can also drink it sweetened with cream.
8. Do you like fuzzy things? Not especially, unless you count our cats!
9. Favorite kind of chocolate? I like milk chocolate, white chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, dark chocolate.......
10. Are you more optimistic or pessimistic? I think I am more optimistic.
11. What about peopleofwalmart.com? Do you think the site is mean, funny, or both? Mean.
12. Do you like fat sandwiches? If so, what does your favorite one have on it? Yes, I like fat sandwiches and my absolute favorite sandwich is a Reubin.
13. One restaurant you'd never been to but would like to go to? PANE & VINO which I found online as the #1 restaurant in Rome, and only because it is in Rome/Italy.
14. Last time you got a haircut? Do you need one? My hair is naturally curly and doesn't really get "longer" it just gets bigger. I get my hair cut every five weeks, without fail. I am due again in two more weeks.
15. What's your favorite pattern for clothing (stripes, plaid, etc.)? Solid colors and I have a lot of black.
16. What's your age backwards? 36
17. When you see typos in a survey, do you correct them? Typos make me crazy and I do correct them when I can.
18. When was your last vacation? Did you go someplace special? Since I always say visiting family is wonderful, but not a vacation, it has been awhile since we really got away for more than a long weekend. Looking forward to New Orleans next month.
19. What's your favorite kind of pancakes? Plain buttermilk pancakes, but I'm really not a big pancake fan. I make them for us once a month or so. Two or three are enough for me. I'd rather have eggs, bacon, and toast.
20. Do you like movies with computer graphics, like Avatar? It depends. I liked Avatar okay, but they are not my favorite kind of movies. Hard to get away from computer graphics these days, though. Most movies have them.
21. Do you know how to sew? Yes.
22. Are you good at wrapping gifts? Yes.
23. Do you like flavored yogurt? Yes, especially fruit-on-the-bottom.
24. How old will you be in December of 2015? 64 on December 11th.
25. What's the age difference between you and your siblings? There are 3 years between each of us, making my youngest sister 9 years younger.
We had a good Saturday! Started our day at the Farmer's Market in our downtown, then we went to an antique warehouse about 20 miles away called The Barn. Enjoyed that very much since it had been several years since I was there. Then we stopped at Sam's Club for a couple of things and wheeled out a full basket of food. Saw our neighbors there and talked with them for 15 minutes or so. It was a fun day, and we got home in time for church. Today....sleeping in and laundry.
Mmm pancakes. I love eggs too. We had them both for dinner this week.

Well, I can't say I've ever had a particularly bad hairstyle, but when I had orange hair it was awful! i was de-colouring my hair because I was tired of colouring it. From red hair I went to orange, then blonde and finally my natural colour.
ReplyDeleteI like most of those films you've mentioned. It's been a long time since I've bought a DVD, so I could probably rent some from you. I have heard that Netflix is supposed to come to Spain this year. We'll see. Enjoy your Sunday.

ReplyDeleteMaybe Pane and Vino will read your post and send you airfare to Italy!! :-). Loved your chocolate and hair answers. People think they'd love naturally curly hair, but it's not like it curls where you want it to. I have to get a very specific haircut to tame the beast

We both looked a little unflattering at a certain age, we are just one month apart in age, we like a lot of the same movies, I'm not a big pancake fan either, we both wear a lot of black and solids, we both prefer yogurt with fruit in the bottom, typos drive us both crazy, we both know how to sew, we both get our hair trimmed every five weeks. Good grief, we're practically the same person, hahaha!! But I do NOT like my coffee black!!

My 1st kiss was delivered by Douglas at one of your parties. I remember it well. Coffe, black. Can't eat chocolate any more - very very sad. and 36.
