Tuesday's Child Is Full Of Grace...
I was born on a Tuesday. I know that this poem is cute, and you know I love being born on a day that proclaims that I am "full of grace". Well, let me tell you.....I'm about as graceful as a bull in a china shop!! LOL I do, however, believe that I have been covered by God's Grace, for which I am so thankful. Grace can also mean having a disposition to be generous, helpful, or full of goodwill. I do try to be generous and helpful. I do my best to be "full of grace" and will try harder with this reminder!
What day were you born on, and how does the poem do at describing you? If you don't know what day your birth date was on, you can find out HERE.
I also found MANY meanings behind this little poem, just as "grace" has many meanings. Google it and see what you can find out about your day. Let us know, please!! HERE is a place you can start!
Thanks for stopping by and playing along! Peace & hugs!

I didn't have to check mine as I knew I was born on a Wednesday and full of woe. Enjoy your Tuesday and your birth day!
ReplyDeleteWednesday’s Child is Full of Woe.
DeleteWednesday children are associated with emotional empathy. They feel the weight of the world, with a caring and compassionate outlook, often to the point of sadness for others.
I think you are compassionate, Brenda, and you care very much about your friends!!
Thanks, Terri.
DeleteYou are one of the most generous, kind and loving person that I know. Grace definitely fits you in every respect. Gonna check mine out right now.
ReplyDeleteYou are too kind, Linda. Thank you for your sweet comments! I have a long, long way to go.
DeleteSunday's child is bonny, blithe, good and gay. Hmmmm
ReplyDeleteAnd the child that is born on the Sabbath day is Bonny and Blithe, and Good and Gay.
DeleteNumerous versions exist for the Sabbath, or Sunday child. Often Sunday’s children are referred to as ‘happy and wise’, rather than ‘bonny and blithe.’
You ARE happy and very wise, Linda! I always appreciate your wise counsel and advice! (Joe is a Sunday child, too.)
Grace is perfect for you! You may not feel graceful, but you are full of and share grace freely. :)
ReplyDeleteI was born on Thursday, (it was actually Thanksgiving Day) so I guess I have far to go!
Thursday’s Child has Far to Go.
DeleteThursday children have a long, successful life ahead of them.
Sometimes, “far to go” is interpreted as meaning a difficult path, such as children with special needs. However, traditional versions focus on the concept of positive abilities and talents that will take them far in life, rather than attributes to overcome.
OHHHHHHH I'll tell you mine tomorrow, wink. You, my friend, are full of Grace. Blessings
ReplyDeleteHmmm I have far to go. Interesting
