I thought I was making up the title, but when I went to the cloud looking for images, there were quite a few Throw Away Thursday images. Amazing. A play on "Throwback Thursday" - who knew?
Work is smoothing out. Whew!
I am throwing away my Nexus7 Tablet. It died on me after three years. I put a new battery in it, as suggested by our techie guy/friend at work (actually, he swapped it out for me) and that didn't bring it back. He told me three years---throw it away. I've been reading my book on my smartphone since then, which is just crazy. Kindle Fires were on sale a few days ago, with an option to pay over five months. Sold. I got my new one yesterday!! I am SO happy with it. It is the Kindle Fire HD7!! Whoohoo! Happy girl here. All of my apps have been downloaded and I am ready to start a new book on my new tablet.
We had a potluck breakfast at work yesterday, to celebrate 2nd quarter birthdays. I took breakfast deviled eggs, made with bacon and cheddar cheese. They were a hit and I had an empty container to bring home. I took a dozen and a half eggs, so there was a bunch (36) on the plate!
It is hard to believe this is the last day of April. Time is just flying. Wishing you a good April 30th!! Peace & hugs!
Good morning, Terri! I've heard such great things about the Kindle Fire HD7! Enjoy!! I can't imagine how hard it must have been to have been reading your books on your smart phone! ReplyDeleteNow you have me wanting the HD7..I have the Kindle Fire, so guess when it takes its last breath, I will get one then. I just joined Prime so cant do both right now. The eggs sound perfect for breakfast. Glad work is slowing down and you arent under pressure. Have a good Thursday. Blessings.

Your Nexus was bound to give out sooner or later. Of course, nobody makes things to last any more. I usually make up my own titles for posts too. English is an easy language for play on words but difficult in other aspects.

I was tempted to buy the Fire a couple of weeks ago while shopping for Katie's graduation gift, but it was time for her, not me, dagnabit :) Glad you like it.
