Finally Friday!
Sure seems like Friday has been a long time coming this week! Always seems to happen with short weeks for some reason.
Last night, Joe went to the Mid-Florida Society of Human Resource Managers Chapter meeting with me. We got dinner at one of the local country clubs (Grasslands) and listened to an attorney talk about way too many human resources legal issues. We have become such a litigious society.
After listening to that, when we got home I found two wonderful God things on line. One on Blogger and one on Facebook. Friends had prayers answered!! Praise God!
Speaking of the power of prayer, please keep my co-worker's wife on your prayer lists, if you will. Elaine O. has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and has started chemo. Keep Bill on that list too, please, because he is really hurting emotionally and is doing his best to be her caregiver. Thanks so much!
Bruce and Tammy need your continued prayers too, please, and thank you for that! I haven't spoken with my sister in a week! I need to call, but hope no news is good news.
We have no plans for the weekend, so come what may! Looking forward to just going with the flow. Wishing you a good Friday, and thanks for coming by! Peace & hugs.

Will keep them in my prayers, Terri. We are called to bear one another's burdens, and those are difficult burdens indeed. Life changes so quickly. Have a good and restful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to a weekend with no plans as well. Sometimes those are the best :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great carefree weekend ahead for you and Joe. Always the best kind. This weekend I'm hopeful that we can get to the Farmers Market in Smithfield, one of our faves. Then hoping to find a hairstylist so I can have a halfway decent picture on my drivers license that I need to get next week :) Have a good one, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a short week, but my week has gone by quickly after I got past Monday. Litigations are quite popular here too.
ReplyDeleteOh that subject/Litigations is a real sore spot for a lot. ANYWAYS--keeping your co worker and your family in prayer. Blessings
ReplyDeletePraying for Bill and Elaine, Bruce and Tammy. No plans for us this weekend either. We've enjoyed a nice rain and peace/quiet today! God bless.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a very moving weekend for us. We'll be helping Anthony and Lori to move tomorrow.
