It is Finally Friday Eve!

Made it to Thursday!  The weekend is almost here.

My day started at the Economic Forecast Breakfast, hosted by the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce.  I always get two free tickets, and would go even if I had to pay.  There were about 700 local business leaders there.  Brian Wesbury is the speaker.  He is an economist, and his forecast is usually right on target for the year ahead.  You can read more about him here if you are interested.  He predicts that real estate is the place to invest right now.  He expects it to continue on an upswing over the next 10 years.  That was good news, indeed.

I had another productive day at work.  That is good news, too!

I had a call from the clinic, to tell me that my orthopedic doctor was called to surgery.  I could either see is PA (Physician Assistant) or reschedule next week.  I decided to go ahead and see the PA.  She is good.  She offered me another shot of cortisone, or the option to wait a couple more weeks, since it is getting better.  She believes it is still more of an inflammation problem, that may continue to improve.  The tear in the meniscus is small and probably is not ready for surgery.  She even said that the surgery might kick-start the arthritis to get worse.  We also talked about trying to get the insurance company to agree to Synvisc, one more time, for my right knee, and she agreed to put in the request.  Made an appointment for one month, with the doctor.  I can go earlier, if needed.  So, still in some pain from both knees, but I am managing.  Hope the left one continues to improve.

Thanks to those offering prayer for Gregory, Matt and Bella.  Gregory's surgery went well.  I'm going to see him at the hospital tomorrow.  Matt's surgery is Monday.  There is not a decision yet on the next course of action for Bella's cancer, but updates are on Facebook.

Wishing you a good evening and Friday!!  Peace, love & hugs.

  8. Somehow I don't think real estate is something to invest in in Spain at the moment. The other day I was thinking when I bought my place how lucky the former owner was. She put the sign up in the afternoon and I bought it the very next morning. Now one of the owners has had his flat for sale since before the summer. Still, that is good news.

Hope your knee feels better and soon.
