This dress is by Dior. There is just something classy about "basic black," and this gown is lovely. She will need some shoes, so count down 1-2-3 and tell us which ones you like best! It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!!
My thoughts: The dress is a classic. I wouldn't have chosen it, even 50 years ago when I was young, thin, and in shape, but I do like it very much. As for the shoes, I wouldn't have chosen any of them for myself, but for the young lady wearing this dress, I'd choose #3, with no embellishments. Let's let her earrings and necklace make the sparkle. I can see rubies and diamonds! What are your thoughts?

ReplyDeleteLovely black dress...and yes, the accessories/jewels should dress it up. However, I do like shoe #1. It looks like it might be suede or velvet, and I like that texture.
ReplyDeleteThe neckline of the dress is not my style or preference. A wrap of some kind would be on my shoulders. As for the shoes, they wouldn't show much with the length of the dress, so any of the above would be acceptable. However, I do like shoe #1. Maybe my jewelry could compliment the shoes, but probably nobody would notice except me!
