Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 644
2. 'Beware the Ides of March'...March 15th on the ancient Roman calendar, these words were made famous by William Shakespeare in his play Julius Caesar. Caesar was assassinated on March 15th 44 B.C. Have you read any Shakespeare? Yes, many years ago in high school. If so, do you have a favorite? No. Have you ever been to Rome? I have been to Rome, and we were told that this is the spot where it is believed Julius Caesar was stabbed to death... (notice the feral cats!)
3. Do you like a Caesar salad? It's okay. If given the choice between a garden/house salad or Caesar, which do you order? House, please! Anchovies or no? No. What's your favorite salad dressing? I like a balsamic vinaigrette when I'm out, but choose French/Catalina at home.
4. Where do you typically work (or blog if that's easier) at home? In my recliner, in front of the TV, with my laptop on my lap. Do you have a dedicated home office space? No - just as noted above. Are you happy with that space? Very happy. It works for me!
5. Snowdrops, daffodils, lenten roses, crocus, hyacinth, or early tulips...what's your favorite early Spring flower? Is it awful that I don't have a favorite flower? I usually say it's the simple daisy (no fragrance). Flowers are lovely, but I just don't care about them. Many of them give me headaches, like gardenias, lilies, and honeysuckle.
6. Insert your own random thought here. I had a great lunch out with two sweet friends yesterday. Suzette is a 'snowbird' and is heading home next week, so we wanted to get together again before she leaves us for the summer. We had a great time talking and laughing (we always laugh a lot!), and we all enjoyed our taco salads! Love these ladies!
Peace and Hugs!!
I rejoice in my Redeemer Greatest Treasure, Wellspring of my soul! I will trust in Him, no other. My soul is satisfied in Him alone.

Thanks for the many smiles, Terri. I really look forward to your posts. Have a great day friend.
ReplyDeleteInteresting photo of that spot in Rome.
ReplyDeleteNice photo of you with your friends. I had taco salad yesterday too!
Nice to have a farewell luncheon! The pic of the Roman ruins looks so out of place with the appts behind it! lol
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet photo of you and your friends, Terri. Safe travels for Suzette! I usually do my work on my laptop at our dining room table. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteWow, I wonder if there were any feral cats there when Julius Caesar was stabbed to death? Interesting thought to ponder. LOL. Love the picture of you and your friends. So nice you had a chance to visit over lunch again! Oh, I also prefer a house salad, or a taco salad! I do like grilled chicken breast on my house salad, however, when available. See you soon!
ReplyDeleteTaco Salad: I haven't had that in quite a while. It's sooo good!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like everyone read Shakespeare in school. I did and I was not a fan.
ReplyDeleteI think that's what I am missing from my life, a recliner! I have my armchair but a recliner would be something special.
Hi dear Terri, I absolutely love the photo of the 3 of you! A luncheon is always nice.
ReplyDeleteI love a good taco salad! I didn't write this in my blog . . . but the daffodils/jonquils in my photo had to be removed - they were so scented that I had an allergy attack haha!
ReplyDeleteI can picture you on your recliner. I don't know if I could type that way or not. I love the photo of you and your friends. No anchovies for me either.
ReplyDeleteI love all the Spring flowers -- in someone ELSE's yard/house. A wet Caesar salad is one of my favorites -- once in a great while. Meanwhile, I'm happy with a throw-together green leaf assortment -- drizzled with a combo of garlic olive oil and Marie's bleu cheese.
