It has been a busy week!!
On Tuesday, I went to the Zoo Tampa with Cheryl. I was very disappointed in the zoo, but the weather was great for an outing, and it was fun to be out and about with Cheryl. Not many photos to share, since there wasn't much that was interesting enough to photograph.
I had to pose with the cat. Not sure why a cat character was important, but...
There were no animals worth photographing. Some hippos, a few elephants, one tiger, penguins...
I had a dermatologist appointment on Wednesday morning, and then ran some errands to the post office, the bank, got some gasoline, and Publix for a prescription.
On Thursday, I had Bible study in the morning, I got the guest room ready for my son to arrive on Monday, did some laundry, got 3/4 packed for my weekend in the Keys for my granddaughter's wedding, got a quick manicure with gel polish, and went to dinner with the dinner group. We went to Fish City Grill. The food is always delicious there, and Lakeside Village is all decorated for Christmas now. Sorry, no photos.
Today, I am off to Tampa with Anne and Paul to the Moffitt Cancer Center. We hope his numbers are good, and he won't have to stay for more chemo, but they are packed and ready, just in case they decide he needs to stay. The bone marrow transplant is still scheduled for early January.
I will be absent until next week, perhaps on Wednesday. I will have wedding photos to share, though, and will also have some fun things to post with my youngest son, Jeff, visiting. Next week is my 74th birthday! Yikes!!
Thanks for your visit!! Have a great weekend!!

So, is next weekend the wedding? You do have a full plate going on there! I'm sorry the zoo was such a bust! But I'm sure it was nice for Cheryl to have such a nice day with you. I didn't know she was in a wheelchair? Or was that just for the day? I know walking in places like that can be very tiring and difficult. I'm happy that Joey will be coming to go with you to the wedding. That will make it extra nice. And I am excited for you to be having your 74th birthday! You're catching up with me, but I'm still older. LOL. Gee, I missed yesterday's fashion post...I need to go back in time and look. I'm a bit off schedule this week, but getting better little by little. Take care and don't overdo it with all your activities!!
ReplyDeleteThe wedding is this weekend. Jeff (son #2) is coming for my birthday week, next week. Cheryl is not in a wheelchair, but she does have some major health issues, including mobility issues, and uses the electric chair or a scooter when there is a lot of walking.
DeleteI don't think I have ever been to the zoo in Tampa...hippos? I would have loved a photo of that, lol. You sure have a lot going on, wishing you a beautiful day. ☺
ReplyDeleteIt sounded like a busy week and a busy weekend ahead. Enjoy the time with your son, your granddaughter's wedding and your upcoming birthday.
ReplyDeleteThe wedding is this weekend! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteYou have fun times ahead with Jeff coming, the wedding and your birthday. Enjoy every moment!
A birthday and a wedding to celebrate, Terri! You have so much joy to look forward to in the next few days. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well for your friend♥ Have a great trip and Happy Early Birthday.
ReplyDeleteThat's a shame the zoo wasn't great but it still sounds like a good day out. How wonderful to have your son visiting, the wedding too and happy birthday for next week!
ReplyDeleteYou have my brother's and twin niece and nephew's birthday. Happy birthday early. You are going to be busy with the wedding and guests. Always take it easy and breathe.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting, watching Lauren and Jeremy exchange vows! And right before your own Happy Birthday, with your son by your side!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I hope the lack of zoo visitors doesn't signal them downsizing ... or even closing. Sad. Please be safe out there on the road. I'll be thinking of you!
I'm surprised the Tampa Zoo was better. The one in Jacksonville is fantastic, or so I hear. Haven't been there in donkey's years.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the wedding. Be safe. 🎅🏻
Lovely photos, Terri. Cheryl has a beautiful top, I love ❤️ the colours. I love the cat 🐈 and you have a lovely smile, Terri.
ReplyDeleteSad, but true, I didn't like the Tampa zoo either. They are very expensive and you only get one free guest. I was used to Brookfield zoo where I got all my grandkids in free with my ticket and then they also provided free passes for others to come. Tampa doesn't do that!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have safe travels and enjoy your time with family!
What exciting times ahead!!! I'm so happy for all of the family time for you!
ReplyDeleteYou've got some fun things lined up! A December wedding in the Keys. I look forward to the pictures!!!
