December Smiles
Let's be light-hearted today and ask some not-so-serious questions, shall we?
1. What is the dumbest rule you've ever had to follow? My curfew when I was a senior in high school was 10:00. I thought that was pretty dumb, but it really wasn't.
2. What is the weirdest or funniest thing a guest ever did/said in your home? Gosh, I can't think of anything. My guests have always been well-behaved!! LOL
3. If you had a warning label, what would it say? Don't lie to me!
4. What is the first thing you must do in case of a Snoopy/Charlie Brown Apocalypse? Who is the first person you call for advice when that happens? (Imagine that the characters of the Charlie Brown series take over the world! What do you do as your first move? Who would you call for advice on how to live in that world?) Wha waa whaa waaaa wha wha... (If you know, you know!)
I can just hear the Wha.. Wha. I agree with don't lie to me. It can be such a betrayal when you've trusted someone. Thanks so much for joining in!
ReplyDeleteGood answers! I'm thinking we need to come visit just to give you a crazy guest story! :)
ReplyDeleteYes!! Do it!!!
DeleteOh the curfew. I was sure I had to be in before anyone else, but Mama’s favorite line was, “Nothing good happens after (the curfew)!”
ReplyDeleteJeff’ surgery went way better than the last one. Just taking it easy today.
My curfew was 10:30 and NOT a minute later. Momma was very strict about it. I also thought it was dumb at the time, now I know it wasn't. Happy Tuesday!!
ReplyDeletebtw, it started at 10 but I begged for 10:30 and she relented. :-)
DeleteWhen I was a senior-it was midnight and I should have had it be ten....
ReplyDeleteI love your warning label, Terri. Charlie Brown and the gang were always my favorites, too. Blessings!
ReplyDeletePerfect warning label, Terri! I never got 'into' Peanuts, so wouldn't know who to choose. Snoopy, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteAhh! I remember having to be home by 8pm when I was a teenager but my brother who was younger than me didn't have to be back home until 9pm. It was dumb but all because I was a girl. Eesh!
ReplyDeleteI am with you with not lying to me. When someone does I am done with them. I put up with a lot of things but I can't stand liars.
Yes, my curfew was 10:00 too. Then when I started college, they said I could stay out til midnight. (I still lived at home and went to a community college). Then I met John, and our first date he brought me home at 10:00!!! My mother asked if something was wrong or didn't I like him? I said, "well, he said he had to go pick up his little brother at a dance". I didn't half believe him, but I soon learned that he was telling the truth. My mother thought he was so responsible to look after his little brother like that, and that I should grab him while I could! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember a curfew time - lol - knowing myself I probably was in earlier than the curfew.
