Happy Friday, and thanks for stopping by!!
The meeting with my insurance agent on Wednesday went okay. He convinced me to stay with my current plan. Compared to a few other options, this one is still the best place for me to stay for another year. It was good to hear the comparisons.
Yesterday, I went to Bible study at my church. Last night, I went to dinner with my neighbors. Sandy and Bob asked me to ride with them, which was nice. There were seven of us, and we went to the Italian restaurant we had to miss last week. It is always fun and always good.
I spoke with my son, Joe, last night. It was great catching up with him. I talked with him about my roof leak and what the contractor wants to do. He agreed that it is necessary and that the price seems reasonable. I'll get that scheduled and a deposit made today. Sigh.
I took pictures to share with you, of my two lazy boys... Casper first, and Vinny in the chair. Love my kitties!
I cooked chicken thighs last night to use in a casserole for today. My weekend guests arrive around 4:00ish. They are here until Tuesday. I may miss some time here in blogland, but I will catch up as I can.
My daughter-in-law, Darlene, has opened an Etsy Shop that will help support the New Paths Horse Sanctuary that she and my son have in Brunswick, Georgia. She has some cute things there, and many of them can be personalized. If you just check it out, your presence there counts toward her business with Etsy. If you have a way to share the link, that helps too. You might even find something you can't live without. Thanks, in advance!

Wishing each of you a blessed weekend ahead!! Have some fun!

What fun cat pictures! Thank you for sharing the link to Darlene's shop. She has some delightful items. Happy Friday, Terri!
ReplyDeleteCasper and Vinny are so sweet. Enjoy your weekend! I'm off to check out Darlenes shop.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend with guests! I will check out her Etsy page!
ReplyDeleteI love your kitties. They make me wish I could let my kitties inside the house, but in reality it's still best for us that they stay on the porch, where they seem happy, even if they do try to get in the door when we come out with the food. They are a lot of fun to watch. I will have to check out Darlene's etsy shop. And I hope you have a wonderful weekend visit with your friends...I must've missed who was coming. Sorry to hear you need a new roof. That hurts, but it's also a necessity, so what else can you do but do it? Especially with the possibility of hurricanes! Take care my friend and have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI will be sure to check out Darlene's Etsy site, Terri. Enjoy your company!
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful to have someone to ask their opinion of that you can trust! I love your kitties. They are so cute and each one has their own space.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it went well for you with your insurance. I think we will just stick to what we have again. I love the pictures of the kitties!! They are the sweetest kitties ever!! I did check out Darlene's Etsy shop and I also shared it on FB. I'm sorry about your roof too and I hope this will take care of all your issues. How nice that you have guests coming to stay until Tuesday. I made a chicken and dumpling casserole, but wasn't really thrilled with it. It's tasty, but just won't make it again.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your cats, Terri! Watching a sleeping cat...you can't help but feel at peace! Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour boys are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit like the ostrich with her head in the sand about that open enrollment business. So far, I've not had any 'issues' but wish I knew someone more schooled in these sorts of things to consult.
Thanks for the link to Darlene's site. I love shopping at Etsy!
It is good you had someone to look over your insurance plan.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have a catch up with your son. Good luck with getting your roof fixed.
Your kitties are just adorable.
Have a lovely time with your guests and good luck to your daughter in law with her Etsy Shop.
Glad you got the health insurance sorted - it all sounds very complicated when our son and DIL talk about it. Oh a leaking roof is not good - hope you can get it sorted quickly and it isn't too expensive. Enjoy the time with your visitors.
