October 2nd: Whimsical Fashion Fun...

There isn't a linky, and there aren't any rules.
Check out her dress and then tell us which shoes you like best for the model.
It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
Photos are from The Storybook of Dreams and Beauty.

I saw this and had to share it.  What a sweet dress for any number of occasions!  As for the shoes... broken ankle for me, for sure, but the model can probably handle them. Which pair should she choose?  Count down 1-2-3 and let us know!

My thoughts:  Emerald green is one of my top five favorite colors.  I'm too old to wear this, but I love it.  As for the shoes... I'll pick #3 for the more classic look.  Too high, but it's what they gave us.  What are your thoughts?  It's just whimsical dress-up fun!

Peace and Hugs!!

Hail Him Who saves you by His grace,
And crown Him Lord of all!

  1. I agree with you on all counts! #3 for me too, but yes, too high and too pointed toes, but I prefer that to open toes. I love the emerald green, and I love that this dress is modest and one that I would wear if I were a little younger and slimmer. I still wonder where people wear these fancy dresses nowadays! Besides proms and weddings, I just don't see too many "formal" events anymore, but then again, I'm not out there where people do things like that! And the prom dresses I've seen on young girls nowadays are for the most part not much more than a very short, extremely tight and immodest tube of fabric just covering barely the bare essentials! Makes me SO thankful I don't have daughters or granddaughters because I would be SO strict about what they could wear! LOL. They wouldn't like me at all! LOL. So when I see a beautiful gown like this one I applaud it and wish they would come back in style for all young ladies again! Just call me old fashioned! LOL.

  2. Most definitely too high, but I would pick #3 as well. Such a pretty dress. Have a great day, Terri.

  3. Love the color of the dress. I'm going with #3 as they are very classic and timeless. I would chop the heel height down.

  4. I love the dress and I am also going with the classic #3 for shoes. The dress is enough to allow for the more classic look on your feet.

  10. Beautiful dress in a GORGEOUS COLOR!!!. I'd go with shoe #1 because I like the cut outs. But of course, the entire outfit is too young for me.

  11. Yes, the dress is gorgeous! I'm going to be different and say #1 because the cutouts go with the sleeves on the dress. #3 is very classy too!
