Whimsical Fashion Fun on Thursday...

There isn't a linky and there aren't any rules.
Check out the outfit and pick the shoes you like best for the model.
It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
The photos are from The Storybook of Dreams and Beauty.

Dare I say vintage late 60s or early 70s? Certainly a fun time for jeans and puffy sleaved tops!  Count down on the shoes, 1-2-3, and tell us which ones you think she should wear.  It's all for fun and just a whimsical thing!!

My thoughts:  I am all about comfortable blue jeans, but never had a blouse with puffy sleeves.  It reminded me of that Seinfeld episode with puffy sleeves (anyone else remember?)!  Not quite the same, but I did think about it.  I actually love the look on her!  If we could see her feet, we might also see bell-bottoms.  As for the shoes, I will choose #2.  Matches her lipstick and looks more vintage-like.  What are your thoughts?

Peace and Hugs!

My great Physician heals the sick,
The lost He came to save;
For me His precious blood He shed,
For me His life He gave.
I need no other argument,
I need no other plea,
It is enough that Jesus died,
And that He died for me.

Oops... I found a picture!

  1. I had a puffy blouse in the mid to late 70s. While I don't like any of the shoes, I will pick the red ones (2).

  2. Oh yes, I do remember that Seinfeld episode...so funny. And as for the shoes, yikes! Did you see the heels on those shoes? Especially #2 and #3? Wow, how does anyone wear those things??? But, after deliberating over them all, I guess I'd have to go along with your choice of #2 also. #1 matches the jeans better, but #2 looks like more fun. So #2 for the fun of it!

  3. Yes, I remember that Seinfeld episode!
I never had puffy sleeves either, but it looks good on the model.
I wouldn't wear any of those shoes, but I agree with you that #2 is fun for the outfit.

  4. I never watched Seinfeld, but sure remember those blouses. (Never owned one b/c the thought of ironing it was a bit overwhelming.) I really, really like shoes #3.

  7. I like #1 only because they match the jeans. Do you remember platform shoes? I had a pair in college. Blessings, Terri!

  11. How does one cope with those puffy sleeves when eating? I'd drag them into my food!!

As for the shoes, I'll go with #2 because I like the red with the blue denim.

  13. I could never wear puffy sleeves like that. I would feel as though they were in my way. LOL! I would say that I would pick the blue shoes (#1) as they fit the outfit color scheme the best.
