Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 532
hack, impact, at the end of the day, rizz, slay, iconic, cringe worthy, obsessed, side hustle, wait for it
Which of these words/phrases would you most like to see banished from everyday speech and why? Are any of these a regular part of your speech? Is there a word not on the list that you'd like to add? I don't use any of these often, nor do I really hear them being used. I don't have any feelings about them, one way or another.
2. What do you wish you'd done more of last year? Less of? What I WISH I'd done more of vs what I SHOULD have done more of... I watch too much TV so less of that. I should have done more cleaning and I wish I had done a little more traveling - long weekends, etc. I have gotten quite comfortable being in slug-mode.
3. A place you'd like to visit in this new year? Do you think you will? I would like to do a road trip and visit some of you blogging friends along the way. I really think I will, so get ready!
4.What are three words to sum up or describe your 2023? Blessed. Lazy. Content.

I would never describe you as a "slug"! You're more of a go getter than me. Being able to go back to work at this time of life must be a challenge and you've done that with panache. I'd say well done you instead of calling you lazy! No way!
ReplyDeleteToby is adorable. I like fuzzy faces. *lol*
Have a blessed day. xx
Those aren't words I use often either. I don't think I've ever heard rizz used.
ReplyDeleteToby is so cute!
I think you need to make it to Michigan on your road trip, although I know that would be a long one! :)
Michigan is definitely on my list, Mari.
DeleteToby is adorable! Don't get too attached! LOL. That road trip sounds like fun. If I were able to do such a trip, I would love it. But hubby doesn't really like to drive that much anymore, so when we do travel anywhere distant, the kids go with us and do a lot of the driving (Benton, that is). I'm not a great long distance driver either, but if I could afford to stop at inexpensive places along the way, that would help! I do hope you will be able to take your road trip this year! That's a good goal to have! I don't use those words or phrases either that I can think of. I really don't even hear them that often. We must not get out much. LOL. Have a blessed and wonderful week, and I will pray for you as you work these longer days. You are amazing, and definitely NOT a slug!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Terri: 2023 was a hard year with my husband being so ill but I am happy I am able to say we made it. In the new year we plan on visiting many museums.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had stitched and beaded more last year.
Love this little adorable baby you are sitting for, so cute, that face is adorable.
Catherine
Put us on your road trip itinerary! That would be fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the puppy...I'm not sure I'd want to give him back. lol
ReplyDeleteToby is certainly a love, Terri, and I'm glad you had the opportunity to dog-sit for him. Sorry about the long workday, but I know you'll make it through. If you are ever up Georgia way, I would so love to see you! Who knows? We might actually make it down your way this year!
ReplyDeleteYou are always welcome!!
DeleteI had all kinds of thoughts in mind to comment and then I got to Toby....SQUEEEEEE!!!! He is so stinkin' cute!
ReplyDeleteOh, I remembered one thing....I hope we can meet if your trip takes you home to Ohio since PA is nextdoor.
DeleteI will keep you on my list!
DeleteThat Toby is one of the cutest things I've ever seen! None of those word choices strike a chord for me, either ... but I'd be hard-pressed to name something else. "Rights" perhaps?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be planning a road trip of my own, but right now Tom's health precludes doing anything. I'd love to see your face at my door sometime!
Those words don't bother me either - lol. Toby is so cute - glad he gets a long with your kitties. Hope today is not too long for you.
ReplyDeleteYou are always welcome here!
Just for the record, I would love to meet all of you!! It will probably take more than one road trip and I might add that the roads also lead to Florida!! xo
ReplyDeleteOh that pup is too cute. I don't think you're lazy Terri - you always seem to be doing something - and you have a job!
ReplyDeleteIf you do a road trip, please stop and visit me!!
