Friday Fotos...

Y'all saw my photos from last weekend.  I only have one new one to share...

We have a couple of ladies here in Mas Verde who paint rocks.  There is another lady who delivers the rocks.  They have a good system going and this rock was waiting for me when I got home on Monday.

I have a little collection going on now.  The back says "Lakeland Rocks" and has the date.  Always fun to find one!!

I skipped dinner last night with the Mas Verde gang.  I'm still dragging a bit and when I got home, I just didn't feel like going out again.  I am such a slug.

Did I mention before that my oven quit working a few weeks ago?  The bottom element caught fire (one little spot had flames) when I was baking Shirley's birthday cake.  I was telling my boss about it and he said I could probably order a new element online and that he could put it in for me.  He has done it before.  Well, I found the one I needed and it was only $26.00!!  Yippee!!  It came yesterday and I think he will get here sometime this weekend.  I've been lost without my oven.

That's all I've got.  We are to have cooler temps this weekend and I am looking forward to that!!  60s at night and mid-80s during the day. Yay!

Peace and Hugs!

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!

  3. I love that rock, Terri. So whimsically painted! And how sweet of your boss to help you with your oven. I know Danny and I would be lost without ours.
    Have a blessed weekend!

  4. What a fun idea, those rocks! Me thinks those ladies aren't unlike Johnny Appleseed! So glad your boss suggested replacing the one element, and is able to remedy the situation. Blessed!

  6. There is a whole group of people here who paint rocks under the name "Latrobe Rocks." They have a Facebook page where they post pics of the rocks before they hide them and where the people who find them post that they've been found and then they rehide them (sometimes very far from where they were originally placed) for others to find.

  7. Beautiful rock! I do hope your boss was able to fix your oven for you! I can imagine it would be hard to do without. Now is the season to start using it more! How nice he can do that for you and save you a bundle!! Praise God from Whom All blessings flow indeed!
