The Wednesday Hodgepodge...

Thanks to Joyce for today's Hodgepodge!!  You can join in HERE!

Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 522

From this Side of the Pond

1. What's something that scares you?  Other than politics...  fire and big water because they can't be stopped.  Big waves are especially terrifying for me.  I don't know how surfers see a 30-foot wave coming and think it's fun.

2. Do you care where the food you eat comes from?  Kinda sorta. To what degree?  I'm not into organic everything, but I also don't want scary chemicals on my fresh produce.  I pay attention but I'm not a fanatic about it.

3. What's something you wish you'd spent more time doing when you were younger?  Saving money. Studying the Bible.

4. Let's play autumn this or that....pumpkin spice or apple cider? Corn maze or haunted house? Horror film or a Hallmark movie? Neither. Blanket or sweatshirt? Watch football or watch the World Series? Foliage-red, yellow, or orange?  (My picks are in red.)

5. This time last year where were you and what were you doing?  Right here. Same old same old

6. Insert your own random thought here.  My 8-hour shift went by quickly yesterday, but I am tired.  I stopped at the grocery for a few things before I got home.  My body and mind are used to working part-time. It's been over two years now, but full-time is not something I want to do again!!

Peace and Hugs!

His kingdom is forever.

  2. I'm with you on the thoughts of where your food comes from. Common sense, right?
I'm glad you are part time now. I'm trying to cut down, to 3 days a week, but waiting to get that official ok.

  4. I agree with you on lots of your points. I am glad you made it through your 8 hour shift and the trip! My scariest thing - I am worried about the country losing their belief in God.

  5. Wish I'd thought to answer 'politics.' Right about now I'm wavering between feeling scared and just disgusted.
Amen to #3 ... both points!

  6. All that is happening in our country is truly frightening. I have to really limit the news I read. I honestly don't know how people cope without Jesus in their lives. Hope you got a good night's sleep after a long work day!
