Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 459
2. Who inspires you to be better. Tell us how. Joe always did. He was my best friend, my mentor, and always had my back. He believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. I was extremely blessed by him in my life.
3. Share a money-saving tip with us. I am the wrong person to give that kind of advice. Save!!
4. It's National Garlic Day...are you a fan? Yes, indeed! Your favorite dish that includes garlic? LOL... I always say garlic and butter can make anything taste better!!
5. Would you describe yourself as decisive or indecisive. Elaborate. I am decisive in all things but "where do you want to eat". (wink)
6. Insert your own random thought here. My dermatologist, on Monday, found another basil cell cancer to remove (from my arm) but she didn't find any more pre-melanomas, praise God! She still wants to see me again in six months. Fine with me. I am staying out of the sun!

A Hodgepodge of Fall Favorites
So glad it was found and taken care of. We have the same trouble with food. lol
ReplyDeleteI was fortunate to play in band and to have taken piano lessons.. Enjoy music so much...
ReplyDeleteWe share the same taste in food. Butter and garlic DO make anything better! And I like LOTS of garlic. So glad your visit with the dermatologist went well. I haven't had any issues yet, but figure my day is coming after all those burns and using baby oil to try to tan my pale, freckled skin when I was a kid. Boy, we were dumb back in the day, eh? Have a beautiful and blessed day, Terri!
ReplyDeleteAre you talking to me in regard to #5? (rolling laughter)--we were on 200 yesterday and I was like, "Ohhhh and Ohhh" the girls would like that, LOLOL. How about Cracker Barrel? Grin--I'm easy...truly...still awaiting the Moving Company---I still don't have a definite answer--I gave them 48 hrs, LOLOL.
ReplyDeleteCracker Barrel on 200 is always good. Just keep me posted about that moving company.
DeleteShrugging nothing yet on that front...I am afraid my anger issue will flare, grin. Yes, I was thinking that one, on 200.I think the Disney welcome center use to be there many many moons ago. lol
DeleteGarlic and butter? Oh ya, bring it on! So glad your dermatologist appt. did present any concerns. I've been remiss, at best, about self care. How is your sister Patti doing?
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking, Myra. She only has one more infusion. So far the scans are all good!!
DeleteHey, I can comment again!! Yay! Don't know why but I'll roll with it. *giggle*
ReplyDeleteI wish I could play piano too. I did play (or try to) a guitar and a flute. I think flute music is so calming. I also enjoy singing even though I'm not especially good at it.
Enjoyed your answers.
Love & Blessings. xx
This is the price we are paying now for our days in the sun. My girls do not tan, wear sunscreen in their makeup, hats, and spf shirts. We were slathered in baby oil. Yikes! I'm glad there was nothing more worrisome. I wish I could play the piano too. I never had lessons but Daughter2 plays. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThat's good news from your dermatologist, Terri! And I would have to agree with you that garlic and butter can improve an endless amount of dishes. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I am so glad you didn't have another melanoma. Do you take vitamin D? I feel like it is a good thing to take. I have had a melanoma as well.
ReplyDeleteYes, I take Vitamin D. Mine was a pre-melanoma so it hadn't manifested yet.
DeleteWow, so glad your dermatologist report was good, and that they are taking care of whatever they find in time. I wish I had taken piano lessons, but never really cared to at the time. I've often wished I could play, but oh well. I can't. But I appreciate those who can. I enjoyed your answers. Of course, I always do! LOL. Hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are getting checked out regularly and no melanoma!
ReplyDeleteI did take piano lessons - for 7 years! But, I started trumpet and quit that, which you continued with, so we are even. :)
Started with piano and stayed with piano, which as a Mennonite girl, that was pretty much the only choice!
ReplyDeleteStaying out of the sun in Florida must be difficult! I'm glad you're getting the skin check-ups.
