Friday Fotos...

Another week has come and almost gone, and again, no new photos.

I did bid my dear friends, Jill and Murray, goodbye yesterday morning before I went to work. I know that they made it to Savannah (thanks to FB), where they will stay a few days to enjoy seeing the sites.  From there they will go to Charleston for a few more days before heading home to Canada.  They will be back in the winter, though, so it wasn't a sad goodbye.

At this writing (Thursday night) the new owners aren't here yet.  I hope to meet them soon and fingers crossed that they will also be good neighbors and become friends.

Thursday evening, I went to Shell's with Judy and Tim, and my old neighbors Sharon & Bob, who are in town visiting Sharon's sister.  It was fun seeing them and catching up a bit.  I didn't take a picture but did find this one from last year when the same five of us were at Miller's Ale House.

The usual group of 20 decided to not go out because there is a pot-luck at the clubhouse on Saturday. Not sure why that matters but I was glad for our little group and a chance for conversation.

I have my covid test after work today, in preparation for my colonoscopy next week. Kind of silly doing it a week out, but I will do what they tell me to do.  Tomorrow is the Fishing Derby at my work and the extra hours I will work Saturday will cover having four hours off next week for the procedure. Yay for an understanding boss.

That's it for today.  Good golly, it's April!!

Peace & hugs!
God's love is steadfast
and unchanging!

  1. I hope you have fun at the fishing derby tomorrow! So happy you were able to go out with friends (again!!) this week. And very glad your friends from Canada will be coming back after all. Praying your new neighbors will be extra sweet and special to you! I know they will be blessed to have YOU for their neighbor! Praying you pass your "test" with flying colors. Did you study? LOL. Have a great weekend.

  2. New neighbors are always a worry. I hope they're good ones too. Don't have to agree on everything, just be kind and considerate, right?! That's all I ask also.
Have fun at the fishing derby. It would be nice if lots of kids show up and have a great time.
    Blessings. xx

  3. I love how you do life, Terri! That's odd about the Covid test; here in Alabama, it has to be done with 4 days of a procedure. Fingers crossed you'll soon meet some nice new neighbors!

  4. I'm so thankful that I can do my colon screening with Colo-Guard, Terri. So much easier! You might want to ask your doctor about that for use in the future.
Great pics of friend, too! Hope your new neighbors will become fast friends.
    Blessings!

    1. That has been explored, Martha. Because of my family history and that every other time (it seems) they find a polyp of two, colonoscopy it is.
