Whimsical Fashion Review 2022...

There isn't a linky and there aren't any rules.
Check out the dress and pick the shoes you like best to go with the dress.
It's all in fun and just a whimsical thing!
Photos are always from The Storybook of Dreams & Beauty!

My regular readers know I am always taken in by vintage and this is listed as a 1950s Prom Dress. Count down 1-2-3 on the shoes and let us know which ones you  like best for this dress!

My thoughts:  Oh, to be that thin!!  It is getting to be prom time and I think the dress is lovely.  I am choosing shoe #2 for this dress though the pink ones are nice, too.  What are your thoughts?

Peace & hugs!
God's love is steadfast!!

PS:  Update on my phone/camera situation.  Samsung was helpful in that they acknowledge that the phone is under warranty and told me to take it to a registered tech (very close to home in Lakeside Village).  I stopped in there this afternoon and he thinks I need a new camera and can order one for me but he needs to do a computer diagnostic test on it that can take up to two hours.  I will go do that after church on Sunday.  I can grab some lunch and do some shopping while he has my phone.  What a journey. Nothing is ever easy anymore, is it? (Not really a question.)  I'll keep you posted!  In the meantime... no new photos.

  1. So glad you found an answer for your phone problem! Glad to know the company stands behind its product, as they should! The gown is lovely, and my eyes went to shoe #2 right away, as they match the bodice of the dress and help tie it all together. I am not a big pink fan, and the white just seemed too plain. Yes, Oh, to be thin and YOUNG again to wear such lovely dresses! We can always dream about dancing with Prince Charming in our teen-age prom dresses! (Remember the commercials where the woman said she dreamed she was a princess in her Maidenform bra?" LOL. Those were the days. I look forward to this post each week. Thank you!

  2. I think most of the time these modern things are nothing but extra expense and heartache. Well at least there's a Tech that can fix it without too much fuss.
That is a lovely dress. I would have to throw something over my shoulders. My upper arms aren't pretty anymore. I almost always cover them now.
    Blessings. xx

  3. Modern technology is both a blessing and a curse, Terri. Good luck with the phone!
I'm going with #2, too, though I agree, the pink ones are attractive.

  8. So glad Samsung seems committed to making things right!
For sure, #2 looks like the best pairing.

  9. I actually think I like #1 because it reflects the bunch of flowers at the top.

  10. All three shoes would look great with this dress. But I was immediately drawn to #2. Hope this is the end to your phone problems.

  11. I do hope Gary and I didn't break your camera when you took pictures of us at the World Equestrian Center!!!! Seriously, I hope it's fixed soon!!!

My computer spent a night at Best Buy this week, so I understand the consternation of being without for a time.

As for the fashion choice above, I'm going with the pink ones, #1. They are lovely.

  12. I like vintage too and I agree with you on shoe #2.
What a hassle when your phone is still new!
