This chandelier is in the entrance of the Hibachi Buffet where I met my friend, Kalisa,
for lunch on Monday of this week. We had a nice time!!
The next two are of our beautiful Lake Morton (the bird sanctuary).
We had a reservation, but the tables weren't ready yet
so we stood in the "lobby" for 15-20 minutes.
Judy, Jill (they are sisters), and me. Dear friends!!
I took a picture from both ends of the table.
The service was good and the food delicious!
And this couple, Bob & Mary, were celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary!
They got a free dessert from Outback!
So, I need to make another Publix run after work today. I am having Jill & Murray, Judy & Tim, and Susan & Chuck for dinner tomorrow. I have most of what I need but there is always something...

Enjoyed the pictures this morning. I know waiting to eat is no fun, but the food turns out to be worth it. Hope you have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely group of friends, Terri. How sweet of Longhorn to give the couple celebrating their anniversary a free dessert. Certainly, they deserve it!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Pictures looking good... all must be working... sounds like such fun.. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have so many friends and that is so awesome! Hope you have a great weekend. Oh and that chandelier is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteTerri: It look like you are having a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to Bob and Mary.

Well, I'm grinning right back at all y'all! Breaking bread with friends is one of the best things in life. Sweet, learning your 'goodbye' to Jill and Murray turns out to be just a 'see you later'!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful bunch of pictures and story to go along. I love that you have so many lovely friends there at Mas Verde, and happy to hear that your Canadian neighbors will be back, just in a different house. Good friends will always be good friends no matter where they are. And you are amazing to be cooking another meal for another group. I don't know how you do it! And I am sure Helen will appreciate any kind of cake you can do. We always did cupcakes for Nanny in the nursing home because they were easier to serve and you didn't have to worry about forks, etc. Plus, because she usually was in the group dining room, we tried to have enough cupcakes for everyone. However, we also had a smaller private dining room where we could go with just our family, and so then we didn't have to bring so many cupcakes. No lit candles were allowed, of course. I hope you have a nice visit. Take care and enjoy everyone and everything. Yes, I love the chandelier too!
ReplyDeleteYou have such lovely friends. That is good to keep the mind busy. I can't get over how much better Mama's spirits are with the addition of the lady who likes to do stuff in the neighborhood. Oh Miss Helen will be 94--- that is good and hard at the same time. I think the mind has a much harder time staying fresh after about 92.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time with that whole group. I'm so happy to hear that Jill and Murray will still be around, even if not next door.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of all those lovely smiling faces and the pretty chandelier and scenery. Glad you allhad awo derful time
ReplyDeleteWhat fun times!!! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteMy thanks, again, to Jill and Murray, for them letting me park in their carport when I visited you!
