Tuesday 4...

Thanks to Annie for today's Tuesday 4!!  You can join in right HERE!

Tuesday 4

Tea Party

Welcome to Tuesday 4 the legacy of Toni Taddeo, kept in her honor and memory.

Let's discuss tea parties.

1. Do you invite people over for coffee or tea?  No, but drop-ins are always welcome, and the Keurig is always ready for action!

2.  Entertaining is a good way to serve others. The bible encourages it in talking about how to be a good person:

Isaiah 58: "“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen,:to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?      Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? "

Do you entertain often?  We enjoy entertaining and hope we haven't forgotten how to do it whenever this pandemic ends and we can plan a dinner party again.

3. What kind of refreshments do you offer to guests?  We aren't frequent alcohol drinkers but there is always beer in the fridge and wine in the wine rack.  We also always have spring water, Propel, and diet sodas.  Of course, coffee and tea.

4. Do you enjoy tea and/or coffee?  I prefer coffee but also like tea.  How do you take it?  I can drink coffee black or with cream and sugar, or Italian Sweet Cream (my favorite).  I like hot tea sweetened (cold tea too).

Happy December, all!  Hard to believe December is here!

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace & hugs!  Jesus loves you, yes He does!

  1. I look forward to being with friends and family again in the home. We have hosted a group from church for a dozen years. We are still doing Zooms and quite frankly I am over that, but there are a few in the group that are not ready to come back yet. I won't complain about having to tidy the house to have people over. This ole introvert needs people and that says a lot:) I like my coffee black and I hate tea of any kind. I drink water most of the time though!

    1. We are over the zoom meetings too but our group is older and a few of them are still being cautious so I understand. I am still weary of the zoom meetings for our small group from church. Sigh.

  2. I'm so looking forward to getting our Ladies Bible Study up and running again. Unfortunately it will be spring before we get to do that. I don't drink coffee or tea. My go-to hot drink is hot chocolate. lol

  3. I much prefer coffee over tea, and I so miss being able to have folks over to our home. Can't wait for the vaccine to get here!

  6. Happy December! You are very flexible with how you drink your coffee. I just can't seem to enjoy black no matter what. Thanks for joining in.

  9. I love the easy camaraderie which seems to exist as Mas Verde. Just wish I were as confident in my housekeeping, so as to welcome drop-ins. (*smile*)
