Tuesday Meme: Autumn This or That

Thanks to Toni for this week's Autumn This Or That

1.   Pumpkin Carving or Apple Picking?  Apple picking.... in the orchard store, thank you very much!! I don't climb trees anymore!

2.   Yankee Candles or Roaring Fireplace?  I am allergic to strong scents, so no scented candles for me and no roaring fireplace in Florida... but I did enjoy ours in Virginia when we lived there more than 30 years ago.

3.   Hot Chocolate or Apple Cider?  Love them both!!  I have been craving cider lately!

4.   Pumpkin Pie or Apple Pie?  I am not a big fan of either but apple over pumpkin any day.

Thanks for peeking in today!

Peace & hugs!  God bless!!

  2. I'm with you on the apple picking. And I love both candles and fireplaces. Although fires are hard to deal with -- chimney cleaning and all. Can't drink cider so it's chocolate for me. Apple pie or pumpkin pie? I'll take a slice of each. Fun questions today. Take care and have a wonderful day.

  4. Climbed trees to pick apples when I was a little girl. Now there is a pole with a "basket".

See you tomorrow on Wednesday Medley!

  5. I love it all Terri. lol While I am a chocoholic, I have never been a big fan of hot chocolate. I prefer apple cider and always apple pie over pumpkin for me,

  7. Do all the strong scents bother you? I can handle the fruit or food scents. It's anything floral that kills me.

    1. Food scents (vanilla, etc.) are usually okay but flowers and perfume... can't do it.

  8. Enjoyed your answers today, although we differ on most of the answers. But that's okay, it would be boring if we all felt the same!

  9. Believe it or not, NON-fruit-eating me enjoyed a big piece of (from-scratch) apple crisp yesterday. Didn't want to be rude and say, "No thank you", hee-hee.

  11. Oh no....no pie??? Is there another type you like? I also have to be very careful on my candle scents.

  12. Now that we have downsized and no longer have the house with all the fruit trees, I don't have to climb trees for my fruit either! Pine-scented candles are what bother me. I am allergic to pine, and I thought it was just the real thing (Christmas tree), but I've found that even a pine-scented candle brings on a massive headache.

So...I have missed blogging so much. What I have decided to do is make my longtime family blog public. (It's been a private blog, since I started it in 2006). I would love to have you stop by if you have time. You can get there through my Blogger profile.

  16. Ricky LOATHES scented candles - which kills me because I LOVE them. I'm forever burning things anyways & he goes right behind me & snuffs them out :) LOL

  21. I will also take apple over pumpkin. I wish we had a fireplace - it would be so nice when it's cold out. I do like candles too.
