Thankful Thursday with Rebecca Jo...

I am quickly linking up with Rebecca Jo at Knit By God's Hand and thank her for hosting our blessings each week!!  You can join in HERE!

I am thankful for each of you and I apologize for missing your blogs this week with Joe in the hospital and our son here with me.  We are out early and home late, stopping by to feed the cats and clean their boxes in between.  I will get back and catch up soon!

Of course this week I am thankful for Joe's successful surgery!!  I am thankful that he finally shook off the anesthesia and is feeling so much better.  He really had a hard time with it so they must have had him way under.  He didn't even remember that we were there on Tuesday night.  When I called the SICU nurse yesterday morning and she handed the phone to Joe I was thrilled and amazed because he could barely get two words out on Tuesday.

Our Pastor, Associate Pastor, and one of our Elders came by yesterday and prayed with Joe.  We are so blessed by our church family.

It is doubtful they let him go home today but we can hope for a change in his favor. It is more likely to be on Friday.  We give all the glory to God and we both know your prayers have helped to make a difference.  Thank you!!

Peace & hugs!!  God bless!!

  4. Anesthesia is harder the older we get so I am not surprised it took Joe a bit to come out of it. So glad he is doing better and will be glad to see him get back home. I know you have enjoyed having your big boy there with you!:)

  7. Praying Joe will be able to come home and I'm betting his recovery will go much quicker once he's back in his own bed home. You both will be good as new shortly.

  11. You don't need to apologize for not stopping in with all you have going on. I'm so thankful to hear Joe is home!

  12. So relieved to hear Joe is doing better. No apologies necessary. You have enough to contend with without worrying about blogging and commenting. You must be exhausted with all the trips to the hospital. Take care of yourself too.
