** I am so thankful for my blogging friends!! Y'all are just the best! I am always uplifted.
** My part-time job has put me in touch with a friend I lost touch with years ago. We are having lunch next week. I'll expand on this in another post.
** We just switched our cell phones from Sprint (where we have been for years) to Boost. Boost is really Sprint. We didn't have to buy new phones or change the sim card. It was called a migration. Easy to do and we are now spending almost $100 less for more. Amazing. Boost is the Sprint network. Why couldn't Sprint give us the same deal? Amazing. Anyway... thankful to be spending less for more!! Unlimited text, talk, and data, with 12 gigs for the hotspot.
** Thankful for our wonderful dermatologist and that the little basil cell cancer on my arm is gone.
** Thankful for all of our doctors. We've seen more than a few lately!
** Thankful that our daughter-in-law/love, Darlene, is doing so well after her hip replacement!
** Thankful that my knee is coming around after nearly a week of constant pain. I didn't use the cane or the walker at all yesterday. Whatever flared it up has subsided. Thank goodness!
** Our Assistant Pastor and his wife are coming for a visit with us on Friday afternoon. How nice is that?! Never had that happen before. Loving our new church!
** Memorial Day is a few weeks away but there will be a cook-out at the Clubhouse and we will be celebrating with Al and Theresa. Looking forward to it!
** The Museum's Mayfaire by-the-Lake happens in two weeks (always Mother's Day weekend) and it also falls on our wedding anniversary (Saturday) this year. 34 years! Mayfaire (an art festival) is a good place to buy an anniversary gift for ourselves. Hoping my knee will hold out!
Thanks for your visit today! Be blessed!! Peace & hugs!!

Once more ... thankful for your good health and your husband's.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Thankfulness makes all things better.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your knee is feeling better.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Terri, so glad that pesky knee settled down. And you know what...Memorial Day will be here in a blink the way this year is moving along.
ReplyDeleteWow, Terri, what a good deal you got on that phone plan! Yes, any time we can save money, it's a good thing. And I'm delighted to hear that your knee is doing better. Praying it stays in good shape for you, my friend.
ReplyDeleteThankful for you, too!
Good to hear that knee has settled down, hope it stays that way!! Enjoyed reading your list of thankfuls, you are blessed.
ReplyDeleteSo many things to be thankful for. Nice that your Pastor will visit. Glad your knee has settled down and hope it stays that way. We switched our phone service to Consumer Cellular and it works just fine for us and what we use our phones for. Saving money is worth it!
ReplyDeleteSO happy to hear your knee pain has abated somewhat! God bless our good (no, make that great) doctors! I never heard of Boost mobile before, but yours sounds like a win-win situation. Hope you're enjoying a great day!
ReplyDeleteI just dont ever get the way cell home companies work... how they justify some things. We found out about the senior citizens discount through Sam's Club - why wouldnt Verizon tell us when we called questioning to lower our bill ???? THE WORST!
ReplyDeleteSo thankful for so much. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteI'd say things are really looking up at your house!! I would love to be paying less for more for phone service... monthly fees for all of the things we have to buy really adds up!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou do have a lot of things to be thankful for. I am happy for you. I have Cricket - $25 unlimited everything - the phone companies have been scamming us for years.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful "thankful list."
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your knee is feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI love that your assistant pastor is coming over. I know that you and Joe will bless them as much as you are blessed by them.
Hello, Nice to visit you today. I haven't visited in a while.
ReplyDeleteYou have many blessings! How nice that you get to reconnect with a friend.
God bless your day.
Good news on the skin cancer being gone. I assume all the margins were clear and so you are done with that episode?
ReplyDeleteAlso glad you've got some relief with your knee. Gotta have your mobility!!!
I switched to Boost last year, but it isn't Sprint. At least I don't think it is. I had AT&T and the switch was easy. My kids explained it to me as Boost kind of hitch hikes on whatever signal is available.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Not what we understood, but could be.
