Thankful Thursday...

**  I am thankful that our son is back in the USA! His birthday is tomorrow, too!

**  I am thankful for the beautiful weather we have been having! Any day the humidity is low is a good day in Florida!

**  I am thankful for our home and our good neighbors.

**  I am thankful for our faith and that we have a merciful Savior.

**  I am thankful for old friends and new.

**  I am so blessed by a wonderful family.

**  I am thankful that I found a part-time job that is stress-free.

**  What a blessing to have food in the pantry.

**  I am thankful for all of you!

    You know Terri, we do need to be more grateful for things like food in the pantry and a nice warm bed to sleep in!! When we were first married we did not have much food in the pantry and now I am so happy to open my pantry and find that I could eat out of what is there for days.

      I read something once that said (to the effect) What if we woke up to only those things we thanked God for the day before. We do need to be thankful for all the little things too.

    So happy that your son is home safe and sound...that is truly a blessing to celebrate!!! I love that you are so thankful for everything...that is a wonderful lesson for all of us to practice...and I do...I just don't always write it down, but maybe I should...because your posts are so encouraging to me. They help me to see just how much we really do have to be thankful for! Thank you for being you.
