Unless you count coughing and blowing and listening to Joe doing
the same, then the most exciting thing that happened
this weekend was me getting the laundry done.
We didn't venture out of the house except to get the mail.
(I did go to work on Saturday morning.)
The clients at the farm are still sick and asked us to not come on Friday.
This nasty thing is going around. One of the patients who came in on Saturday
said they are wearing surgical masks at work to keep from spreading it.

I did work on Saturday morning but the day went smoothly and we got to close up the office a few minutes early. I got home to find Joe still in bed and he slept until nearly noon yesterday. He is a couple of days behind me on this cold and I have to keep reminding myself that he is 14 years older than me and can't fight it off as well.
We see Joe's heart surgeon on Wednesday morning. Your continued prayers are appreciated!!
Sure hope to read about your weekends being more exciting than mine!! Thanks for your visit!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!
That guy in the last cartoon has no idea how to "fold" a bra. The way to do it is to place two balls side by side then put the bra on top of them; then another bra; and another; and another. Simple!
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Loved the cartoons and it says it all. Laundry is a chore that takes all you have to get it done, and then it is time to do it all over again. Prayers for both of you to continue healing, especially Joe since you are ahead of him.
ReplyDeleteI try to keep up with the laundry and get it folded and put away promptly but I would take an invention that did it in a heartbeat! Also a robot to take the dishes out of the dishwasher.lol
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky that my hubby helps with the laundry. I hope you + Joe feel better.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you both feel lots better today. We are already seeing pollen on everything so that adds to it! And I'm actually someone who loves to do laundry. It's my favorite household chore! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYes! Why is it so hard to put away laundry?!
ReplyDeleteIt just occurred to me, if I began folding our laundry there'd be so much more space in our closets! Continued prayers for both y'all!
ReplyDeleteBless your heart, giving us so many things to laugh about when you're feeling so miserable.
ReplyDeleteLaundry isn't too big of a deal around here. I sort it and put it through the washer and dryer. Dick folds it when he's watching TV in the evening. We each put our own away. That's usually done on Wednesdays.
Laundry is such a chore but there's no escaping it. The bit I hate is the ironing although I try to keep that down to a minimum. I do hope you're both soon feeling fully recovered.
ReplyDeleteOh man... sounds like your whole area just needs a load of Lysol dumped on it :) those germs are just pesky & need to go away!
ReplyDeleteI hope that nasty bug leaves your area soon!
ReplyDeleteI love Pickles! They took it out of our paper last week and replaced it with something strange. However, so many people complained that it's returning today. :)
Yes, for sure, my weekend was more exciting than yours (smile). Entertained my sister and BIL for 2 nights, invited them and their son's family to meet us at church and go to lunch afterwards.
ReplyDeleteYes...the "crud" as we call it in these parts is going around here too. Hubby had it but so far, I have escaped it. Sure hope you and your hubby get rid of it very soon!
ReplyDeleteKeeping prayers going for you both to be well very soon. I did a lot of laundry and cleaning. I have been packing away all of PoohGirls things and washing her bedding. I now have a blog on Blogspot if you would prefer to follow that one than the one on WP. Click on my icon and you will see it at the top of the page. Have a great week sweet Terri. Hugs and blessings
ReplyDeleteI found you on blogger and have begun to follow you there! Thanks for letting me know!
DeleteOh dear! What happened with Joe's heart? Forgive me, but I feel like I am just coming back to life right now.
ReplyDeleteMy Joe got the cold on Saturday and I got it today. *sigh* I hope it clears up quickly for all of us. Joe does all the laundry around here. He loves doing wash and I'm not going to stop him.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well at the doctors this week and that both of you feel better soon! I am only today starting to feel "my normal". Yuck!
