Friday Foto Friends...

Thank you, Deb, for hosting Friday Foto Friends on your blog, Breathing in Grace!  You can join the photo sharing HERE!

We haven't been to the farm (Joe's client) yet but may get there this afternoon. That said, I have no farm photos.  The only new ones I have this week are...

This is Lilly. She is camera-shy and I rarely get a good shot of her.
She is our smartest cat and can do a couple of tricks.
When she was a kitten, she would play fetch with us.
Lilly was a feral and is now a sweet little tubby girl.
She does love her snacks!

Joe and I had errands to run when I got home from work yesterday.
We decided to have 'lupper' at Glory Days to celebrate
Valentine's Day.  Lupper is what you have between lunch & supper.
We had ours at 3:30.

I had fried shrimp, mac n' cheese, and coleslaw.
Joe had boneless wings and soft pretzels (no picture of his).

I am getting some help cleaning the house today. I have done nothing for 3 weeks and it really looks like no one cares here.  My Oreck vacuum cleaner has stopped working, so the carpets really look bad. I need to take the Oreck apart and see if it is just clogged (with cat hair). We hope to go to the farm this afternoon.  Joe is feeling a little better but still coughing and blowing. I am much better and only cough now and then. Our dear neighbor, Jill, brought us chocolates and a Valentine card last night. We really miss getting together and can't wait for these colds to be gone.

Happy weekend!!  Thanks for your visit!!

Peace & hugs!  God bless!!

  1. Modern vacuum cleaners are very powerful these days. They really suck ... When I emptied mine yesterday I discovered my mother-in-law in there!

    God bless.

  2. Sure hope you and Joe continue to feel better....that old cough is the thing that tends to linger and is aggravating I know. Hope your vacuum cleaner is just stopped up with cat hair and can be cleaned out. I know you miss going to the farm and will be glad to get back today. Your lupper looks so good! Happy Friday.

  3. Lupper .... I had to laugh! My son in love calls it that and I thought he made it up! Looks like a great meal Thank you, sweet Lady, for being so faithful to link up each Friday. Today is my last FFF. My little Momma is taking more time and I'm getting a little overwhelmed. We'll keep up with each other on Facebook. I'll be posting on the group page and Instagram. Take care, my friend. Love and hugs and prayers! 💜

    A belated Happy Valentine's Day.
Just starting to work out of my grief. So very hard.

  10. "Life is like a camera." I like that graphic. I didn't know a feral cat could become a contented house cat. But Lily is proof of that!

  11. Lily is so beautiful. I hate a cat her coloring named Sweet Pea. Lupper is a new one on me.. so cute. Your lupper looks delicious.
I hope you are both able to get out today and enjoy the farm.

  12. Your "lupper" sure looks good. Yummy. Glad you were able to get out. Praying you will both be feeling much better soon. Love your sweet kitty. I am surprised that she was a feral cat and is so loving. They often don't respond too well to humans. But you have earned her trust. Please take care and enjoy your afternoon at the farm.

  14. So glad you're getting some cleaning help! And I love the term 'lupper' … hope it catches on!
Ugh on the Oreck! So far ours is hanging in there, but I need to see if there's not an authorized dealer in Montgomery.
