Thankful Thursday...

Thank you, Rebecca Jo, for hosting Thankful Thursday for us!! If you want to join in, visit Knit by God's Hand HERE!!

This week I am thankful for...

.... and

...and

and

there, you have it.  I haven't been able to smell or taste since last Saturday.  At least (thankfully) I do feel a bit better each day and slept through the night last night!!  Joe is a couple of days behind me and still feels pretty bad. He can, however, still taste.

Joe's farm clients are both sick, too, and asked us to wait until Friday to come this week.  Helen and Cheryl had us over for dinner last night.  We had pizza. I couldn't taste a thing except for saltiness from the pepperoni. We told them they were brave to have the sickies in their house. We tried to not cough and I reminded them to wash their hands after touching the dishes we touched.  We aren't oozing germs now, but neither of them needs to be sick.  Thankful for dear friends!

Oh! I am thankful that Kim (the woman I replaced at the doctor's office) is coming in to sub for me next Wednesday so I can be with Joe at the surgeon's appointment.  She will also sub for me when/if he has to have his heart surgery.  Blessed and thankful for her!!  Takes a big load off my shoulders when we have to make some decisions.

Thanks for your visit today!

Peace & hugs!  God bless!!

Wonderful that you have a "sub" who will be able to fill in for you as needed. Please take care of yourself and get well soon. 12. What a sweet gesture to have y'all over for pizza. Kim, too! Now THAT's what I call being a friend! Theraflu's always been my go-to for quick relief; have you seen where they have them now in pods for the Keurig?
