Whoa... how can it be February already?!
I had a good time at the farm (Joe's client) on Wednesday afternoon, but it was cold. The wind blows there like a wind-tunnel. I had on a sweater and a 'hoodie' sweatshirt and was still cold. Of course, I was getting sick and probably should not have been out in the cold. BUT here are my farm photos for this week. (I did go sit in the car the last hour or so, reading my book. Since we missed last week, Joe had a lot more work to catch up. We didn't leave until almost 6:00 pm).
Not many cattle in the front pasture, but I caught this guy!
And we saw these two little babies too!
These three horses are boarded there and I haven't "met" them yet.
They are beautiful though!
When we parked, Roho had to greet Joe.
We also saw Tex, Coby, and Arya. The two Chihuahua pups
weren't there Wednesday afternoon.
I had to walk down the lane toward the back pasture
to get to my boys. When they saw me, they came for their snacks!
I told them to let Doc through for the picture and look
what happened next...
Seriously... Doc wanted his picture taken too!
He is my favorite horse but don't let them know!
The Guinea hens were everywhere. The owner told me they
have about 35 of them now.
On the way out, we had a couple of cows leading the way.
And we were rewarded with a lovely sunset!!
I made it to work yesterday and got through a busy day. I sanitized and sanitized and sanitized all day long so nothing I touched would be contaminated. Fortunately, I'm not coughing too much yet. I am just the worst patient. I hate being sick with a stupid cold. Popped into Walgreens and bought a basket full of cold meds. I don't have a fever so no sense going to a walk-in for antibiotics. At least I have a three-day weekend to chill a bit and try to get over it.
Joe had his echocardiogram yesterday and we meet with the cardiologist this afternoon. It sounds awful to hope for an open-heart surgery (or a TAVR) but Joe really wants his quality of life back. Praying!!
Wishing you a good weekend!! Thanks for your visit!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!
You always have so much fun at the farm and I enjoyed seeing the pictures. Sure hope you are on the mend and feel better. If open heart is what is best for Joe, I will be praying all goes well. Keep us posted. Hope it warms up for you this weekend, as it is supposed to here.
ReplyDeletePraying for your husband's and your good health.

Feel better soon Terri!! And I agree with you about Joe's surgery. I think it will make a world of difference for him.
ReplyDeleteI love these critter pictures! Especially the horses...they are so funny. Sorry that you are still under the weather. Praying that mean old cold goes away soon. Please rest up and enjoy a little warmer weather finally! Praying for Joe and possible surgery. God knows best... Take care and feel better soon.
ReplyDeletePoor Joe!!! Praying what's best for him happens.
ReplyDelete& praying you heal up this weekend!!!!
Oh my, but I sure get Joe's wanting his quality of life back. Tim is the same way. At this point, I think we'd take any answer as long as it was an answer.
ReplyDeleteLoved the pictures, but where was the sun???
Hope you are feeling better after your long weekend. It's my weekend to work.
Yes, the horse photos were my favorites! Will definitely be keeping Joe in my prayers, Terri.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Well, here I am again. I'm missing so much here! I love your farm photos. I know I've missed a lot and do apologize. I guess I'm going to have to take a day and scroll back to see what's going on. Joe? You mentioned work, I thought you retired? I hope to post an update soon...have lots to share.
ReplyDeleteI love your farm photos. It doesn't look like Florida though. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better and that the appointment went well.
Those horses are so cute. I like Doc too. Hope your cold clears up quickly.
ReplyDeleteAlways love the farm pics. I think the horses and dogs would be my favorites. I'm so sorry you're sick. Hope the meds kick in and you don't get the dreaded cough. Prayers for you and Mr. Joe have. Take care of yourself, my Friend! 💜
ReplyDeleteI worked as a receptionist for a doctor many many years ago when my husband was still in college. He would treat me for free when it was colds and such. One time I told him Beloved had to stay home from class because of his symptoms. The doctor filled a syringe and sent me home long enough to give my husband the injection in his hip! Don't you know how happy Beloved was about that?!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I hope that cold doesn't develop into anything really nasty. Rest up over the weekend. Hope the news for Joe was good.
