I mentioned yesterday that Wednesday was a PJ day and I have no pictures to share from our lazy day. Yesterday, Jo Anne and I went shopping in the morning, hung out until mid-afternoon when we all took a ride around Lakeland, doing some site-seeing. We didn't really have time to get out anywhere until we landed at a favorite Italian restaurant for our dinner, which was delicious! Joe and I both had chicken parm, Mike had garlic chicken and broccoli over penne, and Jo Anne had chicken marsala. We were all very satisfied with our choices!
When we got home, we watched a movie Jo Anne had been wanting to see. Rob Roy, with Liam Neeson, is a truly classic movie. Joe and I have seen it three or four times, but it was fun watching with Jo Anne seeing it for the first time. She and Mike got showers and got their bags packed for an early get-away.
We sure have had a good time and just hate seeing it end so soon.

I know you have enjoyed your company so much, and hate to see them go. Maybe a little break will be nice tho! Blessings.
ReplyDeleteTerri sounds as if you need to open a Florida Guest House.:) You treat your guests royally!! I have not seen Rob Roy...will have to look for it at the library. I love Liam Neeson.
ReplyDeleteI know you will miss your company, Terri, but what fun you all had!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Sounds like everyone had a nice time.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Always sad to see them go, but what a great bunch of memories you all made. That Italian food sounds delicious. I will look for that movie since we are always looking for something good to watch.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteWonderful smiles in the photo.
Sounds like a great time!
ReplyDeleteI'd have had a hard time choosing between those entrees! I've not heard of Rob Roy, but I love Liam Neeson. So glad your visit was a great one!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had such a good time, and I know they did too. You and Joe are wonderful hosts!
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to hear you had a great time with your visitors. The house will seem so empty now that they've gone home. The dinner sounds wonderful and I remember the movie from long ago. I enjoyed it then. I'm sure I'd like a rerun. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteThose early morning flights are a bear! Coming home from Florida last week, my flight was at 6:50. Thankfully, I got TSA pre-check, so I knew going through security would be a little easier, but still, with the drive to the Orlando Airport from Titusville, I got up at 4:30, so as to leave at 5. And I am NOT a morning person.
ReplyDeleteI love Italian food. Just last night, Gary and I went to Olive Garden, and I got their chicken marsala. So yummy.
It's such a blessing to have faraway family come for a visit. I know you and Joe have enjoyed every minute.
Happy weekend!!
Hugs,
Patti
I bet your house seems lonely with your guests gone. I can't even begin to imagine what an awesome host you are! If I'm ever down that way....;-) Thanks for being so faithful to link up and join in each week with FFF. You don't know how much I appreciate you! <3
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a very fun time. Liam Neeson is one of my favorite actors. I thought I had seen all of his movies but I have not heard of "Rob Roy" I will have to check it out. Hope you are having a great weekend sweet Terri. Hugs
