I look for giggles on Tickled Tuesday but also things that tickle my fancy!
------------
Two female cats are sitting on the fence passing the time of day when a really handsome tomcat walks by and winks at them. “Oh darling, did you see that one?” one of the felines opines. “I wouldn’t mind sharing a dead mouse with him.” “Oh, forget about him,” her friend tells her. “I went out with him once, and all he did was talk about his operation.”
------------
There’s this man, he walks up to this lady’s door. The lady answers it. The man says, “I’m terribly sorry. I just ran over your cat. I’d like to replace it.” Then the woman says, “How good are you at catching mice?”
------------
What is the first thing a cat does in the morning? It wakes up. What is the second thing it does after waking up? It goes back to sleep.
------------
I was ticked to get the laundry done yesterday. It was also good to get the house cleaned.
------------
Tickled to have our neighbors, Sharon & Bob, over for dinner tomorrow night. We will probably play some cards before they head home. I'm making baked ziti.
------------
Tickled that Joe and I are going out to eat (probably Bone Fish Grill) to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary on Friday. May 11, 1985, was our big day. This is us with our folks. Joe's dad was too sick to come. (I would be tickled to be that thin again! LOL)
------------
Tickled that our across-the-street neighbors, Anne & Paul, asked us to join them for Mother's Day (late lunch/early supper) at Carrabba's Italian Restaurant. That should be lots of fun. This is the first Mother's Day in 20 years that I don't have to work at the Museum's Mayfaire Art Festival!! Whoohoo!!
------------
Speaking of Mayfaire, Joe wants to go and he is okay with me pushing him in a wheelchair. I have been looking forward to enjoying the festival and not having to run money and write checks and be present if needed. You can read about Mayfaire HERE. I highly recommend it if you are ever close enough to Lakeland on Mother's Day weekend. The Saturday night party is always fun and ends with some spectacular fireworks!
------------
It's a busy week! Happy Tuesday!! Thanks for your visit! Peace & hugs!!

Happy Anniversary to you and your husband. Best wishes of happiness and Good Health.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.

ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!! Smiles
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary Terri and Joe...and I would also like to be as thin as I was when I got married.lol
ReplyDeleteI am like that cat, first thing wake up, second thing, wish I could go back to sleep! You have a busy, but fun week to enjoy. Wishing you a Happy Anniversary in advance, and many more happy years together.
ReplyDeleteThen the woman says, “How good are you at catching mice?”
ReplyDeleteHehehehe! ;-D
Happy anniversary to you and your dear husband! My husband and I are just behind you---we will celebrate 33 in February. And, yes, I hear ya, I would like to be as skinny as I was on my wedding day!
ReplyDeleteCards with friends---such fun! We did that last Friday.
I remember a cat joke from my childhood. It was a prank phone call. I picked up the phone (about age 9), "Hello."
The called said, "Your cat's on our fence."
I replied, "We don't have a cat."
Called replied, "That's okay. We don't have a fence either."
Then they hung up. That phone call has stuck with me all my life.
Have a great day,
Patti
That call is pretty funny! Our 'favorite' back then was... (Hello) Is your refrigerator running? (Yes.) Better go catch it - hang up!
DeleteAlways a good way to start the day with a chuckle. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! It's coming up fast. Such a nice picture of all of you. I hope you go to the Mayfaire and enjoy it by not working! I enjoy things at the library a lot more now too since I don't have to work it.

Tentacles. (10)
