First of all, I am thankful that I am feeling so much better and the coughing is down to one or two coughing spells a day.
I am thankful for the time I get to spend on the "farm" (Joe's client) and that my two favorite horses seemed happy to see me today. They even stuck by me without apple treats!
Doc, below, is my buddy!
I am thankful for our wonderful neighbors who are also our friends now. We enjoyed sharing dinner with them last night and then played cards until around 9:00. Good times with good people, Sharon and Bob.
I am thankful for my dear lunch-bunch girlfriends and am having lunch with two of them, Cindee and Shirley, today. We haven't been together since Shirley's cancer surgery. She is doing great and does not need chemo. Praise God.
I am thankful for my readers and friends here! Happy Thursday! What are you thankful for today? Peace & hugs.

True Happiness consists not in the multitude of friends, but in their worth and choice.

ReplyDeleteSo many of our most wonderful moments are around the table sharing meals with folks, aren't they? Those are often what I am thankful for too. What card game do you play with your friends? Back in the day (late 80's), Gary and I were big into canasta. We later got into pinochle. Now we play hand and foot. I love to play cards!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Patti
Hand and foot are really big here, but so far we have stayed away.. it gets a little competitive!! LOL We played Back Alley Bridge last night. It's easy and fun and no partners.
