So much to catch up on! What a journey we've had these past four days. I also need to tell you about our trip to Ohio and then our experience with Hurricane Irma.
Just wanted to post HELLO and to let you know we are okay and our home had no damage. We have been so blessed. It is great to have the internet back!!

So good to hear from you! I know it was pretty brutal in Lakeland. Still trying to get home. Going to our 3rd hotel in Georgia near the Florida state line tomorrow and then we will attempt the remainder of the drive early the next morning. The latest issue is that I 75 may flood and will be closed so there could be a 200 mile detour - with gas shortages along the way. Grateful our house was spared, but tired of being part of a news story.
ReplyDeleteI saw your Facebook post and so glad you are safe at home. My sis in law who fled the keys, is headed home tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWe have prayed for you and Joe. Even my husband has been asking, "How is Terri D?" I'm so glad you have no damage and have Internet! Thanks for the update. I look forward to hearing more from you as time and opportunity allow!
ReplyDeleteBUG HUG!
Ha-ha! Make that "BIG Hug"!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad your ok...been wondering, smiles. My folks in Ocala still have no power, no phone, no cable. Apparently, according to the Star Banner, the utility poles in their neighborhood snapped in 1/2.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you are ok. Look forward to the catch up :)
ReplyDeleteGosh I am glad you are okay - I feel so bad for Florida!

ReplyDeleteGlad us Southerners made it through..... Not sure when I will get to PA as it looks like my deal here to sell has been delayed.. But I am so lucky and was blessed with the shelter I ended up in. Sure I would lose my travel trailer so wanted to save my car. Want to definitely meet you some time... after the weather cools down I may be up for a ride...
ReplyDeleteKeep me posted please!!
