* I am thankful for 20 years of work in a place that I (still) love
* I am thankful for my husband, Joe
* I am thankful for friends who are no longer co-workers but have still texted me and called me this week to say they miss me or to ask a question
* I am thankful that those same friends are asking me to set lunch dates or dinner dates so we can stay in touch
* I am thankful that the crown that is crumbling on one of my teeth is still hanging on since my new dental plan won't be effective until September 1st.... isn't that always the way? Why couldn't it have started falling apart a couple of weeks ago?
* I am thankful for our sons
* I am thankful for my faith and the promises of God that I know will be fulfilled
* I am thankful for our pet sitter who is onboard for our 10-day trek north later this month
* I am thankful for my blogging friends and am blessed by the friendships shared here!

ReplyDeleteYes I feel your pain about the crown...I have to go to the dentist on Monday to have a new one and my plan does not start until next year. But I am thankful we have the money to do it. So many people do not. Thanks for that reminder to be thankful in all things.

Yes, you can definitely use unbleached white flour. It originally called for all purpose, but I used what I had in the kitchen. Cherries and blueberries sound delicious together!

ReplyDeleteWe still have dental coverage through Dick's employment, but whenever we decide he's leaving that we will have to figure out something else for dental. I'd be interested to know what you will have for dental.
ReplyDeleteIt is through AARP, Jean. It is $34 a month and gives pretty good coverage and discounted prices for bigger things, like crowns and root canals.
