I have a few more photos to share that I got from my grandma's photo collection.
My mom and my uncle. If it was 1947, it was probably my mom's senior year of high school. She graduated in 1948. Uncle Bob is five years younger.
Uncle Bob, my mom holding my brother with me in front of her, then my Great-Grandpa Lewis Cameron, and my grandpa, Bob Cameron.
Great-grandpa Lewis and Rebecca (not sure who she is - name on back of the photo). Notice that they are holding kittens!
Well, look at me!! This was sure a standard pose for babies back then.
Yesterday was busy at work with a two-hour lunch meeting outside the building. I'm working on October financials and bank statements. There isn't a Board meeting this month, but I still need to get them done this week.
I'm already starting to prepare a Thanksgiving menu in my head. I haven't written it out yet but did revisit the one I put in a private Pinterest board last year. I did get my 20-pound turkey at Publix over the weekend. They have them for 59¢ a pound which is pretty good. I'll leave you with this image....
Thanks for your visit!! Wishing you peace and sending you hugs!

Terri, your avatar is just so cute! I love that you are drooling over the turkey.
ReplyDeleteHow cool to have those old pictures. They are gems for sure. I could tell that baby was you right away. Some faces never change.
Have a wonderful day! Get those reports done.
WHOA!!! 50 cents per pound!!! My hubby bought a Butterball for 99 cents at Aldi. No turkeys on sale here...sad to say. Usually Wegmans has them for 59 cent as well...but not this year.
ReplyDeleteANYWAYS---always enjoy your throwback...have a beautiful day friend.
I don't know where you're getting these avatar's at, but they're really clever.
ReplyDeleteLovely old photos of the family. Thank you for sharing the joy with us too.
Have fun with the reports.*giggle* ~:)
bitmoji.com Sparky. Have fun!! You have to put the app on your phone, then I copy them to my google photos so I can access them on my computer.
DeleteI haven't seen that Bitmoji. It's cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your family pics.
Luckily we are going to MIL's house for Thanksgiving so I don't have to cook.
Have a great day!
Your bitmoji is cute!! We're having Thanksgiving with my oldest daughter, all the family will be there. She's making all the plans, all we have to do is show up!! Love it!! You were a beautiful baby...awwwwww....!! ((hugs)), have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThe busy time of the year is nearly upon us, and will be downhill from now til the end of the year. Enjoyed looking at your old pictures and am sure the memories flooded your mind and heart. Have a good Tuesday.
ReplyDeletehaha - I love how much fun you are having with the avatars :)
ReplyDeleteLook at your baby picture - how cool is that!
Shout out for REBECCA... whoever she may be ;) haha
Look at your mom's cool varsity sweater!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy 'olden' pictures; it's fun to see the clothing styles ... and hats! I wish they were to come back in fashion.
PS - You look like you were a mighty happy baby. :)
I enjoyed looking at your old photos. I have lots of them that belonged to mine and Ed's parents, and I wonder what will become of them after we're gone :(
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to decide on a menu for Thanksgiving, too. Your turkey beats mine by 3 pounds! I guess we'll both be in the kitchen early, huh?

I like those old pictures. You're right - that was a standard baby pose back then.
ReplyDeleteI started getting things for Thanksgiving dinner too, it's coming right up!
Thanks for sharing where you got your cute pictures from. Lovely to have all those photos. I have a pile from my mum and her mum to sort out at some point.
ReplyDeleteI love how you were kicking your little white shod baby feet.
ReplyDeleteI love that cute avatar and that you like to prepare Thanksgiving. We hosted ours in mid October, so it seems like Christmas should be the next thing coming up! I love the photo of little, cheerful Terri. I see that positive attitude even then. xo
