Sunday Stealing....

The Kwizgiver has another Sunday Stealing Meme for us.  Click HERE to join in and link up with other Sunday Stealers!

Puzzler Meme

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.
Cheers to all of us thieves!!!

What time is it?  8:30 Saturday night.

Quick. What’s the first green thing you see?  The only green thing I see is in a painting on the wall.

Do you like those Sudoku puzzles? Not so much, but I'm not very good at it.

Do you own a plaid shirt?  Yes in fact I do. Blue & white.

What’s your favorite kind of pie?  Coconut custard.

Have you read a book today?  I read a little in my Kindle everyday, so yes.

Do you like going to museums?   LOL...since I work in one, it's good that I do!

Have you ever been to Washington D.C.?  Yes - lived there for 12 years. Or your nation's capital?

Have you ever been to the state of Washington?  No.

Do you like apple juice?  It's okay. I don't crave it and haven't had any in ages.

How cold is it outside?  Low 70s.

Have you ever taken a course in Chemistry?  Yes, in high school.

Do you like to draw?  Yes, I do.

What do you put on your french fries?  Salt and ketchup.

Do you like everything to match?  For the most part, yes. I'm not OCD about it though.

Do you like mustard?   Yes, especially hot mustard.

Would you ever work at a movie theater?  If I needed money and that was the only job I could get I would do it and be thankful.

Do you have a phone charger in your car?  Yes...don't we all these days?

Have you ever slept through an alarm?  Actually, no.

Do you like pineapple on pizza?  It doesn't sound good to me at all. No.

Do you like to hold hands?  Yes. Joe and I hold hands frequently.

Do you want a tattoo?  Not so much. I've thought about it, but that's as far as it has gone.

When is the last time you ordered from a catalog?  A couple of months ago...Christmas.

Do you know anyone who has a collection of old records?  I used to, but gave them away. No.

Have you ever had your picture in the newspaper?  Yes, a few times actually, but this was the first:

I can't thank you enough, those of you have kept Joe on your prayer list!! He is doing so well! He is working hard on his wrist and hand, and it is paying off. He can make a fist now and hold a grip for a little while. Each day we see progress! Blessed. So blessed.

Yesterday, we started our day early.  We went out to breakfast, and Joe did great handling things with one hand. We had errands to run, including getting Joe's hair cut.  His appointment with his usual person (Carol) had to be cancelled when he was in the hospital. She was going to cut it yesterday morning, but sent a text at 7:30 that her 90-year old dad was just taken to the hospital and she had to cancel. We took a chance and popped in to the barber shop where I get my hair cut by our friend, Teena.  She said she could take him in 40 minutes, so we switched our plans a bit and got a couple of things done before going back to the barber shop. Teena (she reads my blog). Joe really likes his cut and I think he will be calling you for another appointment!!  :)

We  picked up a tuxedo shirt, cumberband and bowtie for Joe, and then went to Dillard's where I found a gold top on a clearance rack that is just what I really wanted for The Gala this coming Saturday. It is our 50th year and I just wanted something gold to wear. Pictures will follow our big event....

We went to the 4:00 Vigil Mass and then out to eat with our friends, Al & Lucille.  Lucille is the art teacher at Santa Fe Catholic High School.  I was the business manager there for four years, before I went to work at Polk Museum of Art, so we have been friends for 22-23 years.  We don't get together often because we all get busy with other things and have different circles we socialize in, but we need to change that. They do come to openings at the museum and we see them there, but you can't really catch up and visit at openings.

Today we are sleeping late and it is laundry day. That's all we have planned. Nice.

Thanks for peeking in today!  Peace & hugs

  2. I'm glad Joe is doing so well!

A job at a museum sounds like a lot of fun to me. Those 70-something temperatures sound pretty good too. We were warm here in PA yesterday, but it's to cool off today and rain and then turn back to snow at some point. Boo!

    Have a blessed week.
