Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 220
Our hostess, Joyce, gives us the questions and we post our answers! Join in the fun at From This Side of the Pond.
1. When is your next big deadline? What's it for? I'm on vacation this week. Not even thinking about deadlines!!
2. May is National Barbecue Month. Do you prefer cooking indoors or out? What's the best thing about a barbecue? What's the last thing you cooked on an outdoor grill? For just the two of us, it is easier to cook inside. The best thing about the grill is the easy cleanup. Joe cooked steaks a week or so ago.
3. What is one thing on your "never again" list? There are a couple of restaurants we will not go to, ever again.
4. What's something that annoys you about people your own age? Something you love about your generation? Nothing annoys me about my generation since I happen to believe it is a pretty good generation to be part of. We grew up in the 50s, have a strong work ethic, understand trust and respect because our parents taught us from the time we could understand (or else!). We were also (most, anyway) raised with faith in God and a church family that cared. It makes such a huge difference.
5. Lilac, iris, hyacinth, pansy...your favorite purple flower? Definitely lilacs.
6. Whats a song that always calms you down? Amazing Grace.
7. What's the last thing you donated? Clothing.
8. Insert your own random thought here. Not so random. I am so blessed.
Have a good Wednesday! Peace & hugs!
Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having the time of your life, and the weather is good.
ReplyDeleteIt is easier to cook inside - but I do love BBQ! And I agree - I think we come from a great generation!
ReplyDeleteI loved that line...'until we understood, or else!' Yeah, that was my home too. :-)) And I'm so grateful for it and the values my parents instilled in us kids. Hope you are having a fantastic time, Terri!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a wonderful time on vacation! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGood song! I agree with your answer on your generation. I was born in 1960, so pretty close to you. A lot has changed.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week!
I can hardly wait for your pictures! I have never been to Louisiana. I hope you're having a lovely time.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I agree with what you say in number 4. I'm always amazed that you're always able to answer all the questions, because I'd have difficulty with some of these. I'm adding my enjoy yourselves too!
ReplyDeleteCatching up on blog reading. I always love your hodgepodge Q&A!
