The Day After The Feast....

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  The grandkids arrived just after noon.  Our son, Joe, arrived around 1:30 and right behind him were Helen and Cheryl.  We missed our daughter-in-law, Darlene, who couldn't come at the last minute because of some family things she had to do on her end.  In spite of missing her, we still had a great time.  The recipes all turned out good, and we were all pleasantly stuffed.

After dinner, we watched the Eagles stomp on the Cowboys!!  That was exciting and wonderful!  We spoke with my grandmother, and then we got out the Webster game.  Grandpa won, after coming from behind.

No alarm clocks for any of us today!!  No Black Friday shopping for us, either!

The table, before it was loaded with food.

Lauren & Tristan brought me a lovely centerpiece! It made the table beautiful!

Tristan and Lauren - Let the game begin!

Happy Friday!  Thanks for stopping by! I think we will begin to get Christmas decorations out today, while I have some willing help!  :)  Peace & blessings!

  1. I'll pretend you didn't say that about the Cowboys, LOLOL. My husband and son are Cowboy fans and were yelling at the tv...that was my amusement for the night, lol.

Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving. Love the new look here.

  9. Lovely table and I'm sure everything was delicious. There was one of the Irish pubs (James Joyce) that not only served Thanksgiving dinner but had the football games on too. My mouth is watering just thinking of the food that was on your table.
