Sunday Stealing (on Sunday!)...

The Blue Meme

Welcome back to SundayStealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.
Cheers to all of us thieves!!!

  The Blue Meme

26) Are you happy with the person you've become?  Yes, I am.

27) What's a sound you hate; sound you love?  I hate chalk on a chalk-board when it squeaks.  One of the sounds I love would be babies laughing!

28) What's your biggest "what if"?  Right now, I've been doing a lot of wondering about "what if I retire....."

29) Do you believe in ghosts?  Yes, I do believe some spirits are still around.

30) How about aliens?  Yes. Why wouldn't there be life out there on another planet?  There is so much we don't know....

31) What is the single best decision you have made in your life so far?  To marry Joe.

32) What's the worst place you have ever been to?  Does a cruise ship count? We had a terrible time on the Leeward Norwegian Cruise we went on about 18 years ago.  The bathroom was so small, we hardly fit in it.  The room (ocean view) was so small there was barely room to move around. I got sea sick. We were stuck for four nights. There was no place to go except somewhere else on the ship. It was so bad, we have never gone on another cruise.

33) Can insanity bring on more creativity?  Van Gogh comes immediately to mind. He was a little nutty, but very creative!  I think there are creative people who are not insane, but quite a few have been.

34) Most attractive actor of your opposite gender?  Just one?  Andy Garcia is my secret heart-throb. Andy, and then there is Sam Elliott!!

35) To you, what is the meaning of life?  Family.

36) Define "Art".  I'm not sure there is room here!  Art is something different to each person, but certainly includes the visual arts (drawing, painting, sculpting, etc.,) as well as dance, theater, and music. Anything creative can be called art!

37) Do you believe in luck?  Yes, I do, and I have never been very lucky.

38) In your opinion, what makes a great relationship?  Trust and respect are top of the list!

39) What's a song that always makes you happy when you hear it?  Music makes me happy, but I love the Rolling Stones and Santana to get pumped up, and most any of the old gospel songs to fill my soul!

40) Where were you yesterday?  At home, all day.  The painter came around noon. He will be back today.

41) What's the worst injury you've ever had?  Torn rotator cuff.  Physical therapy was a killer, after surgery.

42) Do you have any obsessions right now?  No, I don't think so. I don't know that I've ever been obsessed with something.

43) What's up?  The sky!

44) Ever had a rumor spread about you?  Oh yes.

45) Do you believe in real magic?  I totally understand that magic is all about optical illusions - and that IS real, right?

.46) Do you ever hold grudges against people who have done you wrong?  No, I don't - holding a grudge just hurts you - not the other person.

47) What's your favorite (non-pet) animal?  The big cats!! I love watching them move. Beautiful.

48) What is your secret weapon to get people to like you?  I don't have a secret weapon, and I really don't care if people like me or not.  I am who I am.  I HOPE you like me. I smile, I'm polite, I listen. I'm happy to make new friends, but I don't play games. Ever.

49) Where is your best friend?  Sitting right next to me as I type this. That would be Joe.

50) What do you think is Satan's last name?  I've never thought about Satan having a last name.  Evil.

  3. Good morning, Terri! I love your answer to # 31. I feel the same about Walt. You described art beautifully. And I remember liking you instantly when we met online and then when we met in person you were exactly the person I thought you were...kind, happy and so down to earth! Enjoy your Sunday!

  5. I'm not going to add much to your answers which I always enjoy reading. However, it's funny that you should mention the screech of chalk on a blackboard, because the other day I commented that I'd rather hear this than to see that someone has written 'loose' when they mean 'lose'. I'm reading a novel by a best-selling author at the moment and have come across this, in my opinion, huge error. Since I teach English as a second language, I understand more than some how difficult the spelling can be, so I don't usually cringe too much until I see someone whose first language is English writing this. Have a good Sunday.

Talking about life on other planets reminds me of my friend, the artist, who is more than insane - in the good way, naturally.
