It's Saturday!!

No alarm clock this morning! I love my Saturday mornings, with nowhere to go and no schedule to keep!  I made us a zero carb breakfast (except Joe had toast) and I have a beef roast in the crock pot for tonight.

We are going to Mass this afternoon, as usual, then a quick trip to Publix for a few things we need. It is too hot and humid to be doing anything outside, though I just heard our neighbor start his mower.  He must be nuts doing that mid-afternoon, instead of in the morning.

We don't have plans for tomorrow either. The house needs a once-over and I'll do the laundry. There are places to go, but it is just too hot. Our July and August are usually miserable. The other 10 months are why we live in Florida.

I sure hope you are having a good Saturday! Thanks for peeking in today! Blessings.

  3. In theory in Madrid we have 9 months of winter and 3 months of hell. It's just now getting to be blazing hot, and it's supposed to reach 100 next week. Thankfully our climate is dry in the summer. I hate humidity! Enjoy your Saturday.

  4. I can't wait for Fall. The older I get, the more I hate the hot weather. Stay cool!

  5. Humidity is ridiculously high here, too. Speaking of roast beef, have you had the Boar's Head London Broil roast beef from the deli? Words can't describe how delicious it is - - - but you know what a fan I am of Boar's Head.

    1. I'll have to try it, Lynda. Right now we have Boar's Head Tavern Ham and Baby Swiss. Yum.

  6. I spent most of the day thinking it was Friday, which is weird, since yesterday seemed a lot like a Saturday. I hope I remember it's Sunday when I wake up in the morning, or I may not make it to church! LOL

  8. I feel sorry for anyone who has to be out in the heat and humidity. Some of my neighbors were out mowing in the middle of the day in it too. They must sleep in and then have to mow in the heat to get it done. Enjoy the remainder of your weekend sweet Terri. Hugs

  9. Sounds like a nice, somewhat, lazy day. We had rain all day. Rainy days make me sleepy and lazy.
