Continued Prayers, Please.
Well, my appointment today was not necessarily the news I was hoping for. (My mammogram two weeks ago caused me to have an ultrasound today.)
I have to have a biopsy on Friday, and an aspiration. There are two areas of concern. One they believe is a cyst and can be aspirated. The other one appears to 'possibly' have a blood supply, and looks suspicious.
So, time will tell. The pathology report will take 5 -7 days, after the biopsy, so we're looking at a couple of weeks before we know anything. Waiting is the worst. I know it can still be nothing, but it doesn't seem like 'nothing' this time.
I got through the thyroid cancer, and I can get through whatever else is given to me. I will rely on my faith and your prayers, please!! Christ will be my comfort, and your friendship and support will be my strength!
Good news...lots and lots of women survive and many advances have been made in treating breast cancer. IF that's what it is, it can be conquered.
No sense worrying until the report comes back. In the mean time, I ask to be added to your prayer list, please. Thanks so much! Peace, love & hugs.

You were on my my mind and in my prayers frequently today. I'm sorry it wasn't the news we wanted.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep praying!
Thanks, Mari. Your prayers are much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteYou have been on my mind, in my heart, and in my prayers and will continue to do so. We still dont know for sure, so lets just keep praying for a negative biopsy and an answer and fix. Sending love your way my good friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Linda!!
DeleteBummer! But your attitude is great about not worrying because it doesn't do any good. I hate this is happening to you but am glad it is after your trip rather than before so you were able to have lots of fun without this in the back of your mind. God is giving you many opportunities to meet new people and let them see HIS peace in your life. We will all be praying that whatever is ahead will be the least problem to deal with.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lynda! I accept prayers gratefully!!
DeleteI am praying for you.

Cancer is not a stranger to me or my family, unfortunately. Experience has taught us that worry doesn't fix anything. Your prayers are gratefully accepted!! Of course, I will be posting here, and still hope that it will turn out to be nothing. Hugs!!
DeleteSending you a hug and prayers always.
ReplyDeleteI'll take them, Brenda! Thanks so much!!

ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYou will be in my thoughts and prayers also. The Lord is with you and only He knows the future so we have to lean on Him and know He has it in His control. The waiting is hard. We're all believing everything will be alright. ♥
