Monday - Tuesday....


I was so busy catching up on blogs that I neglected to post something yesterday!

 There really is nothing to report.  Just trying to stay warm down here in chilly Florida (I know, but it's all relative!).  Nasty bitter cold and too much snow up north, but when it gets in the 30s here, we are COLD!

 Work has me busy, which is a good thing.  Joe and I got hooked on another PBS series from England, called "Call The Midwife".  We watched three episodes last night, to finish Season One.  Season two will begin on March 31st.  I highly recommend this show.  We found Season One on Amazon.  Not just for women....Joe is really enjoying it, too.

 So happy that the 5-year old hostage in Alabama was freed and is unharmed!!

 I am tired today.  Trying to ween myself from the Benedryl and Codeine cough syrup, and found myself waking up every few minutes, all night long.  Not coughing, just not sleeping.  This too will pass.

My friend, Kris, has a very talented daughter named Lindsay, who is in a contest.  The whole family loves baseball, and the Detroit Tigers, specifically.  She needs our votes to win a spot in the MLB Fan Cave, so I am posting the link here, and ask that you vote at least once for Lindsay!  You can vote as many times as you have time for (I try to do several a day).  Thanks for helping her win!  Vote For Lindsay Here!

    I try to vote several times a day too. Hope she wins and hope you sleep better tonight. Today we had spring weather, but tomorrow we're back to winter. As the Spanish saying goes: in crazy February, no two days are the same.

    Call the midwife is fantastic and is set in the area of the east end where my father grew up. Glad that you are enjoying it.

    I've been catching up on blogs too and didn't post anything yesterday. That's one of my goals for today.

      Thanks, Carol. I did sleep better last night. Left out the cough syrup, but did take Benedryl.

    My cough syrup always makes me sleep....hope you are feeling better today. The sun is shining her in Michigan but it is cold and sloppy outside since we got more snow last night.

      I just don't want to get hooked on the codeine cough syrup! It does make you sleep, though! I'm feeling much better, thank you!
