Simply the Best!
Here is an older Tuesday 4 from Toni with a few changes I've made. I hope you enjoy.
1. What was the best thing you have ever bought? Our first house in Florida is surely at the top of the list. We lived there for 28 years and made so many wonderful memories there. We had a pool that visitors loved, including the grandkids, nieces, and nephews. The house I live in now would be 2nd on the list. Happy memories that fill my heart!
2. What was the best book you have ever read? I've read many great books, but would be remiss to not list the Bible.
3. What is the best trip/vacation/holiday you've ever had? Our trip to Italy in 2007. We went to Venice, Florence, Rome, and many places between those cities. Twelve wonderful days! I have a DVD of photos that takes 90 minutes to watch! My niece and her husband did the same tour for their honeymoon (after seeing our DVD). It was our trip of a lifetime. Go Ahead Tours were wonderful. I would use them again.
4. What was the best movie or TV series you've ever watched? Too many to list here! I am enjoying Rizzoli and Isles again. I LOVE The Repair Shop, Somebody Feed Phil, Murder in Paradise, and Escape to the Country. I am a TVaholic. I have too many subscriptions on YouTube, too.

Thanks for checking in today!! I'm getting up and getting out and about a bit. I also wanted to answer (a few folks asked) if I knew what caused the reflection on my neighbor's house. Yes, two of my windows were reflecting the afternoon sunshine. Sometimes it looks like diamonds (yesterday). I think it depends on the angle of the sun. Makes for a good giggle, and I told Susan I almost wanted to add eyeballs! Check yesterday's blog if you missed it.
Just as I am, without one plea But that Thy blood was shed for me, And that Thou bidd'st me come to Thee, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Your first home sounds wonderful, I love the pool and your Italy trip sounds amazing. My favourite movies or TV series change and depend on what mood I am in. I am TVaholic too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a struggle to name Just One in each of these!
ReplyDeleteI loved reading Tess Gerritsen's 'Rizzoli and Isles' books but have never watched the televised version. (Afraid I'll be disappointed?)
The Repair Shop and Feed Phil are such fun; thank you for telling us about them.
That trip to Italy was so amazing. I'm so glad you have the photos and the memories.
ReplyDeleteWe know you have great taste in tv shows! We are watching many of the same as you. :) (And some are thanks to your recommendations).
Glad you are getting out a bit.
Thanks for letting us know what caused that reflection, Terri. Hope your feeling better every day!
ReplyDeleteI always have a problem naming just one of almost everything!! Have a great day!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers! I knew your trip to Italy would be the best for your vacations! I can well imagine it was marvelous with your sweet Joe. Oh, your former house sounds like it was really nice, with the pool and all. I can imagine everyone loved to come visit you there. But it seems they still love to come visit you where you are, because that's where YOU are, and that's the best part of all! Some day maybe I will make that trip down there too. I loved the eye glasses on the wall yesterday. That was so funny. And Just As I Am...perfect song to end this post. Glad you are feeling better today! Hooray!!!!!!! Have a good rest of your week.
ReplyDeleteI love ❤️ the pool. I pray that you feel better 🙏 each day.
ReplyDeleteYour trip sounds wonderful and your house looks like it was great! I am so glad you love your life in Florida! Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

I love those photos of Joe looking so happy in Italy!
ReplyDeleteI recently finished watching Rizzoli and Isles for the first time. I liked it so much that I ordered the first book in the series that inspired it. I enjoyed the book, but it is completely different from the show.
The trip to Italy in 2007, looked wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHaving a home with a pool would be a dream come true for me! I know so many in Florida do (and maybe it seems almost like the norm) but it is a gift and a treat, for sure!! Enjoy -
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are getting up and out a bit!!
